Hold on, sludge? How is there sludge? Did you not service the car on time or at all?

Can you put a camera in the car or if you have an iPhone just the voice memo recorder. So when it beeps we'll hear it. Do any warning lights on the dash come on when this happens?

Few pages back Adamsy said the new Aurion is speed restricted now.

Battery finally died. It was dying on me anyway. Would take a few cracks to start after not using the car for an hour or so. When I finally installed my new dash cam to the Aurion and while fiddling around and using only battery power, went to start the car and she didn't crack over. Went supercheap and got me a ultra hi performance century battery for about $180. The car starts instantly now :). On another note, I haven't washed my car since almost the start of winter. It's really really depressing :(. I'm thinking of waiting until summer and get a pro detailer to give it a full day make over. Heard some good reviews of some guys over on Whirlpool forums.

Just forked out $660 inc GST on my visiondrive camera. Twin camera setup. One for front and back (or where ever you want). Yet to install it but thoroughly reviewed the camera and spoke with the guy who sells these in Australia. So good support and warranty for Aussie customers. This cam was also advertised on ACA.

If you're looking to use automated car washes, I would recommend the touchless ones which uses water jets. They are far easier on your paint job. The flipside is they are more expensive. I use the top wash for $18. Paint protection coating is often overlooked too. I have paint protection on mine since New and lemme tell you, it does work. Less prone to scratches, swirls and keeps the shine for much much longer. I re-treat every year. Mate, I think I've said this before on this forum and I've scared one member from using these touchless washes. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong. I heard that since these touchless washes use recycled water, sometimes the filters don't work as good and it's almost like blasting your paint with fine sand which will give you major swirls. I have no clue where I heard this but yeah. Your choice lol

I bought two rolls. I almost went through the whole roll and still failed It ****** me off and I gave up. You need someone with a lot of patience and skill to wrap the centre console. For big flat surfaces it's ***** easy but anything besides that I give up lol.

Open the centre console, quick search here will show you how. It's been posted several times here. Check connection, if connection fine. Replace bulb. Mine had blown when the car was on about 65K.

Thanks mate. I just purchased it, though realised it isn't 3M brand but looks just as good quality wise. At least it is a bit cheaper too :) Yay, now I have a weekend project to keep me busy :D

I've never seen that 3M stuff in stores anyway so I'd have no clue where to look for it. Also, on a scale of 1 being easy and 10 being hard what would it be to wrap the centre console in this stuff? I'm sick of the scuff marks on my silver parts on the centre console.

Alright, major service is complete. Doubled checked everything that it has been changed etc. I never trust mechanics but yeah everything is perfect. They even cleaned and put new lube on the door hinges etc lol. I asked for my old spark plugs so if anyone wants a picture to see what 85k plugs look like from an aurion let me know. If not cbf taking a pic lol. Everything else like the old filters and stuff where relatively clean. Brake fluid etc all nice n new :D.

Are you serious? The TRD should be taken from you and replace with an old Ford Festiva for that comment. Lmao! If I already HAD a trd no way would I sell up BUT if I had the choice right now to pick a TRD or new zr6 I'd go zr6.

Seriously loving the new Aurion. I dunno, it's very much something I'd want. I think I'm more attracted to the features than anything lol. I'd like to see Holden or Ford top that for base models. Plus everything has been refined in the car like sound deadening etc. They definitely would have fixed a lot up and IMO is a decent step up from all previous models.

I bought just 1 Toyota genuine brake fluid. Is this enough to service the brake system for the 90K service or would I need two as the brakes system will be emptied, blead, topped up during the service.

I got my car booked in at Ultratune. I was quoted $300. I haggled down from $350. This is me supplying all parts. If I didn't supply it was like $780. Huge difference. Still comes wayy cheaper even with me supplying parts. I have all parts ready, engine air filter, a/c filter, sparks, oil filter. The only thing NOT Toyota genuine is the Penrite HPR5 oil which is now apparently according to the new stickering full synthetic where as the old HPR5 was semi so it was as surprise when I saw it was now full because I was planning on only buying one 5 litre because I still had my old one left over but decided to buy 2 of the new since the old one has changed so I don't want to go mixing and matching.

This is my new future car. No effing doubt about that. Don't care what the haters say! I'm loving the new ZR6 and all other models to. :D
