  1. Which bit of railway in the map? There was a car park over there for 2 hours, but we can get a stamp in outback for free parking
  2. Holy God, your car is still new, and rust that fast.. That only happens unless you live close to the sea. Are you living near the beaches? That rust is very bad for just few years... Your WeaponR header is using 304 steel, so it should not rust You can get the catback system and the cat convertor at the same time, i know it is $$, but if push your car often, and plan to keep your car for long. You better change it, otherwise more trouble few years later.. You will get 5kw gain in mid range Calculations: At 4krpm, my one is 62 and your one is 60 due to my pulley of 2kw. I can safely assume the environment factors only play 1kw At 4.8k my one is 75 and your one is 68 so 75-68-2 = 5kw gain, +-1kw environment factor Please keep us updated of what you are going after. I do want you to pay more the exhaust, just for peace of mind, and enjoy the power
  3. can you show us the diffuser? I want to steal your parts and put it on my car
  4. Agree with you, what the heck am I doing? Trying to compare with people to make me happy, that is not correct altitude.. Your car is a classic, AE92 At the end of day, power is not as important as technique on race track. You, being a track slut will understand more than me on that. I would like to race with you. However, we seperate too far away.. My next track day is 2 weeks later, have done all sort of studies already, memorizing each corner speed, braking point, expecting 1:18-1:19
  5. Let me translate the prices, the translation name may be strange, but this is based on Direct translation of their language to English.. Japanese has a lot of foreign language embedding inside.. The translation below is based on their foreign language translation That article is about booking for test driving in Japan dealers, and bring your manual driving license aero power man slide 102900 yen (I dun know what it is, power man is a brand name) rear spolier 50400 yen Rear diffuser 63000 yen power man spring set 39900 yen power man absorder set 58800 yen member brace set 63000 yen 18 wheel aluminium hollow TRD SF1 73500 per corner front brake pad set 15750 rear brake pad set 13650
  6. I like what you say... We want some place not drawing attention, and safe
  7. 1. BG_Pete 2. Seby123 3. Juvenile 4. master.Cuong 5. Ben Yip
  8. Not yours, yours is spotivo, this is for ZRE 152 pre facelift
  9. Can you tell us on google map? http://maps.google.com/ I don't know well about that area. How many people do you expect? How should we organise? Set a date and location and ask people by PM there? I can probably help you to PM people John, I am always with you
  10. This clip was taken 1 year ago with 1/4 tank of fuel. At that time, I don't have catco installed, but CAI, header and cat back are there.. Today, the sound is similar, but little more treble, not big difference. After installation of catco, the needle moves much more faster, especially from 6k-6.4k. Before, the rpm needle speed stays the same from 6-6.4K. Now the needles just moves even faster..Even with full tank.. Will do a dyno tomorrow to prove this is not a psycological thing My exhaust clip Once I fix my mobile phone, I will take another one.. For your petrol, why do they need to care about what car you have, aren't you fill up yourself and pay at the cashier... They don't give a sh** to your car
  11. Congratulations !!! so you feel power up now?
  12. Full spec, I read japanese, so I can translate some into here http://www.trdparts.jp/2011_conceptcar/index.html 150kW (204PS) 250N・m(25.5kg・m) 180N・m(18.4kg・m) 1,270kg (very light, compared to golf) and other cars, Blade is 15xx kg, way too heavy SuperCharger Not mentioning suspension, it should be the same structure (front struct and rear torsion beam) as our ZRE, since the weight is the same..btw, please don't underestimate torsion beam, it saves weight... Honda BTCC type R also use torsion beam, same as Golf GTI Because of the light weight and high power, this thing is a lethal weapon on track.. Cars over 1300kg start to suffer bad understeering
  13. wait... magnet still sticks to stainless steel right...? SS doesnt rust unless i'm been taught wrongly years ago <_< No, you are incorrect, GOOD stainless steel does not corrode, many cheap quality stainless steel mix with high amount of iron http://www.surefloexhaust.com.au/g3ss.htm 409 steel are cheaper, 304 is much more expensive http://www.5min.com/Video/T-409-and-T-304-Stainless-Steel-Exhaust-Review-195165236 http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?479063-FYI-difference-between-T409-T304-stainless-steel http://www.fordforums.com.au/printthread.php?t=11198045&pp=50 My exhaust is expensive, $800 for a cat back, however, when I inspect the car last week, the pipe turns brown, makes me to believe they are using cheap 409.. but it comes with 10 YEARS WARRANTY against rust and faulty workmanship.. I have asked them, they said it is using 304 I am not living in the coast, so not a major problem According to the article T-409 is good for peoples who live where there are no calcium or where the corrosion is not a problem. T-304 is for north american and canadian peoples who want to keep their cars for more than 3 years in a corrosive environment
  14. Agree with Pete, also, I want to share with you a recent trick I learn from youtube to test whether the exhaust can go rusty Bring a magnet with you, if it sticks, dun use the exhaust pipe, because it will rust fast
  15. Sorry to put you down, but you pay what you get They are just Corner cutters
  16. Master Chuong, your car is so hot, where did you get that skirt from? John, where is your one
  17. wtf, not in NSW That means a P Plater can drive a car legally in NSW, but illegal in VIC, WTF?? What happens if people lives between the border !!! What a bizzare http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/licensing/gettingalicence/car/p1p2_conditions.html The prohibited vehicle condition restricts provisional (P1 and P2) drivers from driving certain high performance vehicles. The condition applies to provisional licences issued on or after 11 July 2005. The scheme aims to prohibit young driver access to vehicles that are overrepresented in young driver crashes. Prohibited vehicles are those with: Eight or more cylinders (except diesel). A turbocharged engine (except diesel). A supercharged engine (except diesel). Engine performance modifications that require an engineers' certificate. Certain high performance six cylinder engine vehicles or other vehicles as described in the publication Novice Drivers - High Performance Vehicle Restrictions. The following vehicles are not http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/downloads/vsi/vsi_06_-_guidelines_for_light_vehicle_modifications_nov_2007.pdf Owner certified minor modifications are generally those modifications which were optional equipment for the vehicle concerned. Owner certified modifications also include some non-standard modifications of a minor nature which do not affect the level of safety, strength or reliability of vital systems such as brakes and steering. These modifications have little or no impact upon the vehicle’s level of compliance with the Australian Design Rules. Examples of minor (owner certified) modifications are: Engine changes where the capacity increase is less than 15% above the maximum size engine available for the vehicle (providing no major structural modifications are necessary and where noise and/or exhaust emission ADRs apply, all standard equipment such as carburettors, exhaust systems, exhaust gas recirculating valves, oxygen sensors and catalytic convertors relating to noise and emission control are retained and operate correctly). - The fitting of a proprietary sunroof (if the modifications are of a minor nature only). Fitting a ‘package’ available as optional equipment for the vehicle (eg front disc brakes, power steering, alternative transmission and bucket or bench seats). - Additional lighting eg fog & driving lights. - Alternative wheels and tyres within the owner certified limits set by the Authority (see Vehicle Standards Information Sheet No. 9 Guidelines for alternative wheels & tyres). - Fitting of handling enhancing suspension components such as roll stabiliser bars and up-rated shock absorbers.
  18. John, I originally thought you stole from Master Chuong. because he is using Dulop sp sport as well, but I remember he is using blue colour nuts.. so, John, I am confused, which wheels are you using now
  19. You are right, find the following web site for every wheel database http://www.measurespeed.com/index.php
  20. nice use of the 'acsent' badge buddy. if only you could replace it with your own customiseed a.rice badge ;) p.s. diggin' the TRD license plate holder too. agree, very good use of ascent badge
  21. I can tell you, very hard decision..I am sure you know how hard the decision is for wheels TO be honest, RPF1 style is not my style. Here says 5.9kg http://www.potn.co.uk/fighter-16-x-7quot-4-stud-fitment-white-with-red-lip-set-of-4-wheels-lightweight-series_p1040558.htm but here says 7.7kg http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/16-ROTA-FIGHTER-10-WHEELS-5-LUG-RIM-NEON-CELICA-TYPER-R-/370453341999?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5640bd672f#ht_4962wt_1139 Very good price, even with 7.7 kg, I am still thinking whether to go for it..Since I have to pay almost double for RPF1
