  1. some difference, not big, the same goes for header, some difference, With the CAI, you can hear little turbo spooling sound.. Now my exhaust can even hear some "turbo pop" when changing gear I am going to replace my catalytic convertor with the high flow ones and see what happens.. Out of topic here, Last night I was in Wollomooloo and there is a road block hunting for modified cars.. Cars with big wheels mostly end up there. There is a RTA insepctor dressed up with suit (formal wear) inspecting cars, WTF, so professional.. Lucky, they are not even interested in my car, but once I change my rims, another story Yep not a huge difference with the hi-flow cat in addition to my twinloop rear, but noticeable nonetheless and I'm happy with it. Btw with the weaponR headers - are they considered "legal" on our roads? I had a look at the website that you gave me Ben where you ordered yours, and I read that they listed it as "For offroad use only". i don't know.. From my understanding, unless you have a leaking header, you should be OK I have checked my car last week and it still shows no sign of crack or leaking due to poor installation..However, one screw is little bit out of place because of the acceleration, which can be easily fix I have done research about WeaponR Header, cannot find other owners with cracking report so far, you can google and search for it Also, unless you are using a faulty catalytic convertor or removing it, it will be legal CAI is legal.. There are few areas that police interested in 1. Old sport cars 2. Super big wheels 3. Unacceptable ride height Cars that being picked up are 1. AE92 Corolla Black top, everything stock, no idea why ending up there, no CAI, not even have alloy wheels fitted 2. Few EG6 or EK9, there was one with front lights not even working, shaky driver and passenger seats 3. Honda Prelude with big wheels 4. Holden Commodre v8 with big wheels (not even have a CAI) so many P platers out there I don't think your car will fall into these categories.

  3. Please don't do this to johnnieboi, johnnieboi, please beat the sportivo guys. We ZRE owners should not be bullied by Sportivos !!! This is probably my choice for wheels, Rota R Spec, white colour (because my car is red) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300570729705&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:MOTORS:1123#ht_2120wt_1165 updated: 6.5kg or http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/16-ROTA-FIGHTER-WHITE-RIMS-WHEELS-16x7-40-5x114-3-RSX-/300557012842?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item45fa980f6a#ht_2188wt_905 updated: 7.7 kg I am stilling waiting for their reply on weight, which I guess less than 7kg I will also need to buy some red color nuts (my car is red) Next week, I will change my catalytic convertor to see how it goes. Will dyno later to see the difference, looking for 82kw atw for all mods. Here is my stupid estimation Base 70kw Pulley + 2kw CatBack + 2kw Headers + 3kw Catalytic Convertor + 2kw Intake + 3kw
  4. What happens to your car? Why AAMI? I like your exhaust, does it come with warranty?
  5. Accroding to this, I can either go from 5.5 to 7.5, which means I can only fit 6 or 7.. http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp No la, lightweight and ridigity or you end up the wheels being bent during driving in the following Enkei Review This review is quite good http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=479110 Enkei is not pricy as well I am already broke after I modify my car and go to track day!!! Start to become addiction
  6. I am regretted last time not to see your "bags". I am going to Circuit Club again in July 23. Hope to see your bags sometime
  7. I almost mix up between a Cammy and a Lexus. Your cammy looks like a Lexus, very luxry
  8. Haha, I do not want to thrash my current tires, otherwise, I go for 17x7, 16x8 is rare.. I am looking for black or white, not silver Weight is my main consideration factor, must be under 7kg per corner

Thanks, 中國第一汽車集團公司, in fact when I went to China first time last time, I am bit suprised that they put the Chinese badge at the back of the car instead of the English badge. Not many countries, from my knowledge put their own language badge at the back of the car, and in China, each region of China got a localised badge for each car!!! Can you show us how to do the front lights, looks really cool. I am sure many members will like DIY for those lights
  10. Plan to buy Enkei RPF1 16x7, only 6.2 kg each. Price is around 1k including shipping. Work Emotion is too expensive $255 + shipping + install http://www.autotuningstore.com/Weapon_R_Stainless_Steel_Street_Headers__421__1_Piece__953116109__Toyota__Corolla__From_2009__To_2010--product--161260.html Dutchie101 and Johnnieboi have it installed However, if you don't change the exhaust system, it is useless. For me, I will change the catalytic convertor to the high flow ones because the catalytic convertor is sitting so close to the header The full exhaust system will be looking around $2k

  13. Bought a Toyota Corolla ZRE152 in Feb 2010 MY09. Engine is 1.8 2ZR-FE Photos 91.7KW, stock is around 70kw Peak torque is around 227nm at 4400rpm (37% increase in torque) With camshaft change, aiming to get 107kw at the wheel with more aggressive camshaft, it will shift the peak power band to 7000rpm, with some sacrifice on mid range I am aware the dyno is just a rough estimation of engine output, and is not accruate Stock with cat back only (Graph referenced from another member dutchie101) Before and after Unichip, plus headers, full exhaust (include high flow cat), NST pulley, intake, pay attention to midrange After LSD and flywheel and new pod filter (replacement, same brand and model), nst pulley removed. The 2 dyno lines represent two runs. First run is 89.7kw CurrentMods Power related - Injen CAI (3-5kw increase) - WeaponsR Header (2-4kw increase) - Custom 2 inch Catback installed. (3-5kw increase) - NST Pulley, around 2kw increase, broke into three pieces after 50000km - CatCo Hi Flow Catalytic Converter, with headers sitting so close to it, it becomes a bottleneck. (1-3kw increase) - Unichip (7kw in mid range, 3kw at peak) - MWR flywheel (6kw increase across the range) Handling Related - Bridgetone MY02, Toyo R888 for Track use - Remsa Brake Pad or A1RM - DBA standard rotors - Peddars xtreme Coilover. 30 ways of Adjustment - Cusco Front Struct brace to reduce body flex in tracking - Cusco underbody brace - KMAC 20mm Rear Sway bar adjustable - Wiechers rear strut brace - Peddars lower arm polyurethane bush - Quaife LSD Exterior: - HID 6000K - Front fog light - Toytoa Europe side skirt - Levin style spoiler - Rear tow hook - Auris badge Engine oil: Nulon 0w-40 High Performance Synthetic oil Reducing Weight Remove all seats except driver seat (around 30kg) Remove spare tyre and tools (around 15kg) Light weight driver seat (5 kg reduction) Lithum Battery, 2.9kg each, https://www.lithiumax.com.au/product-page/lithiumax-new-450cca-black-lcd-series-battery Light weight flywheel (5kg reduction) - Rota R Spec 16x7 (6.5kg each) Work in Progress Unichip i-driver to increase rpm to 7200rpm, our car is cut by fuel when overrev MWR Camshaft stage 1, https://www.monkeywrenchracing.com/product/mwr-cam-set-2-2zr-fe-stage-1/. This will increase the peak power by 8% estimated Below was done in 2012, where no flywheel, no LSD and no camshaft mod
  14. You are always my hero, I spend a lot of time reading your thread about your track day, Track day is a beginner to me... Your advice actually teach me many things. In fact, I won't compare to a v8 sedan anymore. In the future, I do hope you keep yourself updated on your track day and your car.. For me as a beginner, can learn a lot of things from you.. especially many mistakes I made (like buying A1RM), should not happen again
  15. nice setup! thats quite a big gain you got on your system ? what engine do you have ? the 2ZR-FE ? Comparing your one (without CAI, header) and johnnieboi's one http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=15718 Both start to lean from 4-6k rpm, and compare the one with Yaris stock http://moe.rampage-guys.net/stuff/toyota/stokt07/palme_yaris.pdf (German, use google translate to change to english) It also lean from 4-6krpm Not sure if it is evident enough to show the lean is not due to incorrect AFR ratio, or otherwise the stock curve should not lean from 4-6krpm... Also, not sure if it is related with torque, because our car has maximum torque around 4krpm With the cat convertor sitting so close to the header, I wonder whether it is a limiting factor as well, I need more research on this.. PS John and others, I am not using factory resonator (torpedo), with the cat back, they gave me another one
  16. I have got it installed 2 days ago with Cusco.. Lucky, I speak Japanese, so I understand almost most of the instruction Another member has suggested me to watch the following before install Also, arttached is the TRD install menu in pdf I am worried about the TRD one will break because it is a single piece of metal with no joins The following shows the effeciency of cusco struct brace. the suspension travel increases from 60mm to 66mm I will go to Wakefield again this month to test the struct brace. The car should show more oversteering in high speed corners (120km/h). If everything is right, I should not even consider installing a rear sway bar to promote oversteering
  17. Write off for sure.. Why does your car get stolen, it is a 2008 model and fit with immobiliser. Does your car look high profile to others?+
  18. Are these ones for your Lexus or ZRE? Very good looking
  19. I still stall the car 3-5 times a week after driving for 1.5 years, especially in uphill or reverse.. When I have 4 passengers in my car, I need to put more gas in order to stop it from stalling.. I have a female friend who owns a 1ZZ, she told me she needs more gas in order to start the car... Personally, I have also driven a 2003 Mazda 3, and a Proton GTI, these cars does not require a heavy gas input compared to my Corolla.. and I can say that the old cars tend not to stall easily.. but these cars got a hard clutch... For my car, the more load I have, the easier to stall 4kg is enough to kick the seat belt indicator, especially in turning corners. People like to do shopping and put all the items in the left seat.. That will definitely trigger the seat belt indicator.. The only solution is to buckle the seat belt if you put items on the left seat
  20. you don't want to fix this and fix that, keep the sportivio
  21. i gave installed it for 1 year and no cel
