  1. :D Please use this thread to comment/complement or ask questions about members rides, that way, we can keep all the Members Rides thread short and neat and only with their own descriptions.

    JOKES !!!!

A lady walks into a BMW dealership. She browses around, spots the top-of-the-line Beemer and walks over to inspect it. As she bends over to feel the fine leather upholstery, she inadvertently breaks wind. Very embarrassed, she looks around nervously to see if anyone has noticed her little accident and prays that a sales person doesn't pop up right now. As she turns around, her worst nightmare materialises in the form of a salesman standing right behind her. Cool as a cucumber and displaying complete professionalism, the salesman greets the lady with, "Good day Madame. How may we help you today?" Very uncomfortably, but hoping that the salesman may just not have been there at the time of her accident, she asks, "Sir, what is the price of this lovely vehicle?" He answers,"Madam, if you farted just touching it, you are going to sh!t yourself when I tell you the price."
  3. Before anyone starts up in the new members rides section, please set the following format ! Each member is only allowed to start up one thread with pics and description of their car, to which they themselves only can add too, but no other members can comment in. Then one thread only where everyone can continuously add comments or questions about other peoples cars. Pretty please ....
  4. Check For Sale section, there's a couple for wrecking...
  5. I've seen Talon kits on other cars, just beware the fit and finish isn't always fantastic. <_<

    JOKES !!!!

The Rabbit and Bear Once there was a rabbit and a bear living in a forest. They went out for a walk and saw a magic golden frog. The rabbit and bear said, "Goodie, three wishes!" The frog then said, "No, six wishes since there are two of you." They got even more excited. The bear went first. "I wish that all the bears in this forest are females, except for me." POOF! His wish was granted. Then it was the rabbit's turn. "I wish for a racing bike helmet." POOF! His wish was granted. The bear hesitated, then said, "I wish all the bears in the neighboring forests were females, except for me." POOF! His wish was granted. The rabbit already knew what he wanted, "I wish for a motorcycle!" POOF! His wish was granted. The frog broke in and said, "Now hurry up, I must be on my way! And, may I add, choose carefully your last wish!!" The bear said, "Alright, I know my last wish. I wish all the bears in the world were female, except for me." POOF! His wish was granted. The rabbit thought for a while, put on his helmet, and got on his motorcycle. With a smirk on his face he said, "I wish the bear were gay."
  7. In Melbourne - Nunawading, there's a place called Teknic Tuning (I think that the right name or something close) that sells Apexi Power Intake filters.
  8. Spot on dude, thats the thing with Turbo's, you can mod them cheaper with aftermarket stuff than factory. True, but it's always nicer to buy something and just not have to touch it. Just look at the Zonda S, you could tune it for a bit more, but it's already nice as it is :P :D
  9. East Side is good :) Glenny Multi-Level Cinema Car Park even better :D How about this Sunday evening about 6 ish.
  10. 4 Doors for me too :( Otherwise I would be in a Renault Clio Sport Cup in a heartbeat...

Well, another forum I frequent has a good set up... There's a members rides blog section where each member is only allowed to start up one thread with pics and description of their car, to which they themselves can add too, but no other members can comment in. Then in the same section, there's one thread where everyone can continuously add comments or questions about other peoples cars. I think it would work well here too. :D
  12. Have a look on Carsales.com and compare to other similar examples. I have access to redbook commercial and it puts the value for a 2003 one in Good Condition at $23,470 (Including the Window Tint and Metallic Paint) and one in Average Condition at $21,160.
  13. Can you post up a picture of your custom SRI, just so we can see exactly how you have it set up

Won't the member rides section double up on the Garage section ?
  15. I think it's fantastic that we're seeing more 'Complete' cars coming from manufacturers By that I mean cars that also stop and turn as well as go well in a straight line. With so many offerings out there 3MPS, XR5, SRi/VXR, etc, it will be interesting to see if Toyota come to the party with a well thought out package rather than the usual half @rsed effort.
  16. I'm sure I've seen P1's at Donellans in Melbourne last time I had my tyres balanced, could have been replicas though.
  17. Just fill in the rear with some 19" wheels to complete the hot-rod look :P
  18. Can we seperate Current/Upcoming events from past events in the Club Meeting/Events section? So once an event has passed it's moved into past events?
  19. Respect to him for standing up for his car. You can tell he's an enthusiast lmao. yeah but compare what his own account on the thread to what he actually did on the video....
  20. VIC Silver Lowered Sportivo doing a u turn on Western Hwy about 4.00pm on Sat afternoon near Caroline Springs.
  21. I agree. Every new model has increased features which bring in more weight. I always think if manufacturers introduce stripped base models with less features thrown in, not only would they sell more, they would also improve fuel consumption. Eg, Image how much lighter a basic car would be (whatever model) if it didn't have... Boot trim and carpet, No cup holders, less sound deadening, smaller more basic audio systems, less storage bins or no centre console at all, less exterior trims/plastics, No plastic engine covers, etc, etc, etc, Some new features such as safety features shouldn't be removed, but really, alot of things in cars these days don't really have to be there...
  22. I've looked at some Scooters, because I have to commute from Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs to the City every day and public transport is just a ripp off. But for the price of the things, Say for example a 150cc four stroke scooter, a Decent 250cc four stroke Sports Bike costs more or less the same :( But I have to work in a suit, leathers won't quite fit in to the conservative corporate world.
