  1. Are you getting these gOODbOYz ?
  2. Remus ! ;) Sweet looking car, love those wheels
  3. 36. Although remember you can vary your pressure according to the season and conditions. Summer: Bump up to 38 - Save Fuel. Winter: Reduce to 34 - Give you a bit more tread on the road when wet. Try different presures and see what works best. But I really wouldn't go below 34.
  4. I think you better lock the threads in the traders section and leave them as Information only threads. Otherwise I can see them becoming 20 pages of Q & A. People can equire directly with the advertising trader with questions. If there's too many posts on these threads it can possibly have a negative impact on the traders advert who is ultimately paying for the space.
  5. Melbourne Initial_D_Major parked at the Multi Level Cinema Car Park at Glen Waverley.
  6. Not a lemon, still a respectable figure and Dyno figures don't tell you how the car drives on the road. But you should have another try one day after the car has been serviced :D
  7. Another Wheel Whore ! :P Nice Tyres - you should see serious all round improvement on the circuit with those.
  8. Comparing the first black disguised car and the photochopped japanese magazine pic, I think the headlights in the magazine pic are a little in accurate and bigger than the real ones, look at the actual panel lines below the tape and vinyl on the first pic. So it shouldn't look so bad, Hopefully the projector beam headlights will be adopted on the Aus Spec model.
  9. Did you have 3 runs ? If the first two figures were lower and it became incrementally higher, then yes it's a matter of your car needing a good run to blow out the cobwebs. Still it wont really be much of a difference, as the ecu would have learnt on runs 1 and 2 (Same goes for a ecu reset).
  10. Don't see any point in making changes to Mods, hasn't been so long since it was last done anyway
  11. Willing to donate me a new one? :P Exede heavy duty please, and throw in a lightened flywheel whilst you're at it theres a h/d under my bed if u want it.... it shattered a few months after heathcote last yr :P You had me going there :P
  12. CAP

    Awesome Ad!

    That was hillarious !
  13. So which workshop in NSW do I break into to pick up a 2zz-ge that's just sitting around ? :P
  14. Don't Hayman-Rees manufacture the genuine ones ? Look for a Hayman-Rees outlet near you. Also, a good towbar fitter will be able to hide the wire harness inside the boot for you, rather than have an ugly plug below the bumper, they usually hide them in the tyre well, then when you need it, the flat wire harness suitable for this (Looks like a PC SCSI cable) simply fits through the boot seal and it hangs out of your boot to the trailer plug. When finished - tuck it back in. Factory wont do this. I'd love to see a Stivo try tow a boat to begin with :P Then hitting lift with the strain of towing the additional weight will destroy the engine in a hurry.
  15. Depends what you mean by "drift", do you mean oversteer ? Sometimes it can be Aquaplaning, sometimes it can be too much speed overcoming the grip of the tyres. Sometimes simply upgrading your tyres can make the difference.
  16. I got a reply for you all... "hey , for the next week our price is $1399 including delivery...after that it will be $1499+delivery. If you buy 5 sets i will do them for $1300 delivered. If you would like more then 5 sets please let me no and ill drop the price even more." So if you contact this guy a group buy is definetely possible.
  17. Nah maaattteee v6 ecotec got no street cred, has to be a bt-1 turbooooo psshht! sikkk !!!
  18. Willing to donate me a new one? :P Exede heavy duty please, and throw in a lightened flywheel whilst you're at it
  19. I think it's to suit their cat-back system that they designed before they developed the headers. No use for them to re-design the entire system just for the headers I guess.
  20. :D I can't afford a new clutch at the moment (Saving for a new engine in my other car) so just to be safe I won't go down the strip, but may cruise and watch.
  21. So when's the next drive into the hills... I'm sure Omn1potent, Lucio and Ilivfor6 are keen :D
  22. I haven't enquired, I just thought this would of use for others, but a friend of mine did for his S15 and from memory the price was very reasonable (Around $1,300 or thereabouts ?) But they're just in SA so you can give them a call.
  23. There's also these ... ISC Coilovers
