  2. the slut bar is a great addition... not saying that it is the best addition.. does make the car slightly stiffer.. i also had an issue with the bolts whiteline sent out.. needless to say they were ****.... so just got a lager stiffer bolt....
  3. or if you have a 3" intake with a decrease to 2.75" where the maf is istalled.... :D :D i wont name the brand that do this for argument sake,, but all i can say is holy bajebus.... very very fun...
  4. craig is having about a thousand beers.. sorry im not there i hate being sick... well done you old coot
  5. 21 now.. hurray for me finally graduated into another age bracket.... but it hurt
  6. pretty sure CES are the only company that have actively got off their ****s to work on our pissy little 1.8l cars.. considering they work on mainly race cars i think instead of pulling yourselves all day and complaining about your lack of power or asking what you can do have a look at the threads and a common trend appears CES is providing the highest ( in most cases) power increase.. so toughen up, save some cash get off your ****s, dont cry, dont start a war, *My car is better than yours ***** and purchase some quality products or just keep it stock... enough said.... shut up and go on and eat your breakfast
  7. All you do is screw them in no need to drill.. have a look at my garage i think theres a pic of the screws on top...
  8. ^^^thats c-one for you.. much like trd i guess, thats why most people can be bothered,, it is a stupid amount its pretty much a CAI
  9. They are a designer attachment to the car, if you like them. please do as northy says and go and get them from the source.. it not like we want every corolla we see rolling around with a copy of the wing tips when we went out and bought the real deal..
  10. Check the for sale thread, i have a TRD CAI for sale in there..

  12. i'm just glad ive got cash in the bank... :D and also happy with how my car looks.. since i did it all myself
  13. you made your bed now sleep in it... Yes oohh. wise one.. but first can you tell me where to put my pillows since you developed the whole concept of beds. then you can tell everyone else,,, for all those interested in the body kit.. call Jetspeed - they will be the ones that get the body kit in not any member on this forum.. deal directly... "I recognise this car. this is in my workshop at toyota with a massive hole in the side of the block... running 9000rpm aint too smart?!? "
  14. CANCEL MY ORDER ON THESE.. CANT WAIT
  15. ^^good input... much like you had no idea about what happend with dave and the audio but still managed to spread some interesting tales..
  16. kyle has walked in on his own accord and they will be charging him 2300 flat +- $5... no ABN or account.. but yes i do believe that this is not painted.. will confirm this week
  17. i used 215/45r17 on a +40 offset 17" rim then +42 17" same tyres still scrubbed but less. tried 215/45 on the +42 rim. back to square one 215/40r17 with the +42 was perfect. if u punch in 205/45 and 215/40 it's still quite close to 195/55r16 ultimately it's still up to u and the design of your rim and tyre. some tyres have wider squarer shoulders. i'm just telling u safe numbers. 215/45r17 with stock suspension will get u strange handling. sure it will feel a little more responsive, but the tail will start to swing violently if u start to really push it. and dun go down the lowering spring and stock shock route. ^^^strongly agree with this statement :D
  18. $2300, is what the kit will cost you.. call Jetspeed and then you can deal directly with the people that will be bringing in the actual kit...
  19. Will void any part of the warranty it directly relates too.. ie. Shocks 1 inch drop you'd be wanting King Lows 35mm drop (which is actually 1.5inches) Superlows is 50mm drop p.s. Dont bother with the Koni Yellows.. save your self some money and get the koni Reds.. only diff is you cant adjust them on the fly Koni reds are not avaliable for the corolla range,, 02 upwards looked into it today.. for the man looking at buying the holotype r's check out my garage for a comparisson also please be smart and get 215/40 not 215/45 you will have issues unless you do what i am currently doing with a trial with camber and obviously suspension... rubbing is not fun and neither is bottoming out.. (215/40) only if your just dropping without a camber change... trust me on this one
  20. to my knowledge toyota for the sportivo version comes standard with iridium spark plugs, but then everyone is talking about the 100k limit on them. - why does toyota change at 40,000km..??? we need to find twin spark iridiums- would be very good..
  21. take your exisiting antenna off, and discover the problem to get to the roof's surface you will need to remove the head liner to get to the wires and also more than likely remove the left behind piece of antenna that you screw the head into.. not an easy job.. have thought about this a long time ago... also if your going for the BMW shark fin, they are designed for communications not radio signal.
