This seems to be a common complaint about most of the newer cars. My BF falcon is the same and I have a mate who has a Maxima and his is the same. I wonder if it has something to do with the 'fly-by-wire throttle system. If you value your new baby get some wider rims/mags and a good quality tyres. And welcome to TOCA

I was originally concerned that the plug may have been too long and hit the top of the piston. I hope this is not the case but if the 'wrong' plug is the long one you may need to get a good look inside to check the top of the piston.

As posted in the 'what did you do to your car today' recently I bought a GT grille for the old girl from the US of A. Yesterday I picked up my headers (which were looking pretty shabby) from Competition Coatings in Archerfield. I can't believe I forgot to take some 'before' pictures. Oh yeh, well i called toyota, and they said they would charge me $185 in total labour to bleed it after they adjust the height... Bleeding the clutch is definitely not a $185 job. Surely you must have a mate who is a bit mechanically minded to help out. This should be an easy fix unless the slave cylinder is inside the bell housing. Two people should be able to knock this over in about 20 mins for most cars I can think of.

The first thing I would have done is a basic compression test to check if there is any difference between the cylinders. If #3 is much more than 10-15 psi lower than the others I feel there may be need for further investigation. I tried to search on Google but I could not find any pictures of the exact plugs listed here. All I got was confused. Any chance of some pics of the two different plugs from your car together.

He quoted me just under $50.00 postage and has said he will send it as soon as the PayPal transfer clears. I also bid $4000.00 on a project 28 near Ipswich but the guy who got it must have really wanted it. I believe it had been smashed on the passenger side front which made the hood alignment out by about 15mm on the left side. This is really interesting. I am not a 4x4'er but I feel your frustration. Never having owned one I speak with minimal experience in such tings but I was wondering if the freewheeling hubs can be switched off while reversing. I remember having to get out in the middle of a creek for my boss to turn the disk in the hubs to activate the front wheel drive. Would disengaging them help if it were possible?

Someone should message them and ask what they are smoking...sniffing or injecting
