    electri-chromatic means that is goes darker (tinted) when a current is passed throught it (or at least the coating that contains the dyes) ie, at night, you turn the lights on and the mirror becomes darker so you don't get dazzled by the lights behind you (rather then flicking the switch to change the viewing angle from day to night settings). it's just a marketting ploy, it doesn't do much more then the standard mirrors. Just uses big words...

    Any exhaust place will flange and fit the exhaust, just ring around. My springs were installed for $150 and I payed for an alignment once they had settled a little (fitting was done in about 1.5 hours). Don't bother paying for a 4 wheel alignment as you can only change the alignment of the fronts anyway. Front wheel alignment should cost you $30-40.

    When Dylan's car pulled 115kw, what were the other Stivos pulling? ← Zee and KT_haha both got 114kW (with only CAI) and Daves monster got 126kW (with CAI, CES exhaust and unichip) performed at Toymods dyno day 11 at Silverwater Automotive Services (SAS) on Dyno Dynamics

    mate that sounds like a challenge :P ← cough cough,, - not for Kw figures.. QLD rules that ladder ← DynoDynamics shootout mode? only figures in this mode are worth considering, otherwise there are too many variables. ← if that's the case I quote my 115 kW at the wheels STOCK!!! :P EDIT: this was not a flame, I have no idea what mine would have put out on those rollers.. as all dyno's have different calibrations, I was simply making a joke after Brendon's attempt with Azza'a car as the example :P

    it's not just the weight of the wheel + tyre but also the distribution of the weight. for instance for a 16 inch rim you have fairly even disribution of the mass but for an 18 inch with a lower profile tyre the distribution is concentrated on the edge of the rotating mass... ie more mass to rotate from a smaller area, hence why take-offs are slower with larger wheels.

    looks like a great day was had and some interesting results and comparisons... but the Stivo still has bragging rights :) makes you realise just how well Danz car is modded when you see those results... good work guys

    As a few of you enquires about this on the Cruise last night... BUMP this is next Sunday along a great route... imagine 100 Toyotas crossing the Sydney Harbour Bridge!!! :D This is open to any toyota owner/driver not just Toymods members Those from our forum who have been to a Toymods event will tell you how easy going the Toymods folks are. This is sure to be a grand day out!!!

    There is going to be a new Pug 307 Sport soon to with the 130kW 206 Gti 180 engine and gearbox... This suddenly looks interesting as it's another 5 door hot hatch!!! :) Not a 3 door!!!
