Mine runs through the onboard sound and into the RCA inputs in the my headunit. The SQ is a little crackly (background noise only and difficult to notice when the music is going), but I'm trying to get to the bottom of the cause of this still as it could have to do with the routing path of the RCA cables, I've tryed a few different paths with no improvement, so I'll see if a noise filter will do the trick (there is engine noise from the alternator too). The biggest factor for music SQ though is the program that plays the music as they all differ in the way they process the data from the MP3, WMA, etc files and have differing clarity. I've found that running my music through Roxio player or Musicmatch (Yahoo music player, the bastards ruined otherwise awesome software though) I get better SQ then through the Centrafuse Media Centre (which I think used a Winamp derived system.

My fascia arrived for my headunit which has neatened up my dash no end. I'll need to modify the CD rack slot to fit my DVD drive as it's not deep enough, but this shouldn't be too much of an issue, will just need to chop and glue a few things :) The downside is the Aerpro fascia kit I bought for the '03-'05 corolla doesn't fit the air con vents properly, so I need to dremmil around the top corners of the thing for it to fit properly. I spent 2 hours cutting and shaping to try and fit it last night using hand tools but in the end it was too hard. I'll take the dremmil tool home from uni and give that a bash :) I'll take some pics and put them up tonight.

Hi I loaded Centrafuse as my front end because that's what everyone else has and works pretty well, but I'm frustrated by the lack of GPS support we have for Australia. I've been considering trying out Road Runner, but this doesn't look as simple to load and upgrade. Anyone had any experience with other front ends?

yeah depending on weather and dyno set up us melb rollas got 103-105 u guys up there are getting like 110 :( b*stards :D Dyno setup should not be an issue (to a factor of 10kw at least) if it is a reputable tuning shop running Dyno Dynamics in Shoot Out mode. Take a look at YDOIT4's car, he has done the works as far as what can be done simply and he has reached 97kw and cost him near $5-$6000 (rough estimate). To get any higher you would need to get modified cams as well if you don't want to go turbo or supercharger.

LAst time I was at WSID (when lift did work and I got a 14.3 ) I had the fuel light come on as I entered the gates.

103-105 kws atw though they have been seen as high as 115...

What RPM were you launching at? I had the same thing happen to me one night at WSID, I narrowed it down to the clutch overheating and not engaging 100% properly in 1st gear. It was OK in very other gear too. I tryed a few launches on the way home after it had cooled down a little and it was fine then.

I believe the reasoning behind the e-mail of pics lies in there somewhere...

sometimes it's just time to move on... as long as the wheels stay at your place for a couple more weeks though ;)

updated to 4.2 and it all works sweet :) 554 songs :) and that's only 1/2 of them so far shame the inbuilt GPS does not have Australian maps though. Is it worth using the earlier versions to be able to use the GPS?
