  1. Get an alignment and it'll tell you that your running about 1 deg neg camber. mine has 1 deg neg on the RHS and 1.2 on the LHS according to my last W/A.
  2. I guess a trip to my house tomorrow for a look see is prolly on the cards ;) After 11.30am too....
  3. Guys the goods are to be arriving to me on monday(fingers crossed). The hold up was initially they were short a couple of rear sway bars then we cleaned whiteline out of strut bar ends so they had to get more in to finish our order. My supplier spoke to them yesterday and they told him it was being freighted today(friday) and it should arrive to me in Brissy on monday. I will then sort the orders out and hopefully get it on the way to you guys by Tuesday at the latest.
  4. With the mods that I have 60 in 6th for me as I've got a bit more torque than a stocky.
  5. Way too much testosterone here for my liking so I think I'll do the honours and tell you to return to your corners and believe what you want to believe. All I know is that I was quoted a recommended retail price of some $2400 (and something price) and that the trade price was about the $2300 mark. This is straight from the horses mouth aka the guy that works for the company selling the kits. So unless he's decided to change the price in the last 2 odd weeks then Sportiv your second hand info may just possibly be wrong. So please don't start your whinging about this and I've talked to Northy and I have told him to take a chill pill cause he was on the phone to me when I was there getting prices and I told him what I was told hence his dissappointment in what you see to be the correct information. End of thread.
  6. Check all panel gaps for allingment and consistancy. Check for dents, scratches and scuff marks on the paint work. Check underneath the car for transit damage (under side of side skirts, front bumper and floor rails) Check the spare wheel, jack, and all the other crap in the boot. Check all the rims and tyres for any signs of damage. Check all the door trims for scratches and scuff marks. Check all door sill trims of scratches and scuff marks. Check the dash and center console for any signs of removal, if you find any ask them WHY!! Check all leather trim on the seats/doors/gear boot and gear know for any signs of scratching or wear and tear. Check under the bonnet to make sure you have an engine, $9000 to get one if you dont :P Check all the fluid levels and make sure there is no leaks. Check that the paint in the engine bay is of satisfactory finish. Make sure that all your accessories are fitted. Make a list of all faults you spot then hand it to the salesperson and ask how they wish to fix them for you. :D
  7. $2300 was the price I organised for Kyle to get his kit.($2305 to be exact) That is the TRADE price as far as I'm aware and unless you've got an ABN and have an ACCOUNT with Jetspeed they won't give YOU the TRADE price Unless I've been ill informed by the guy who works there then the retail price is ACTUALLY about $2400 ish <_< That price doesn't include fitting, painting or freight.
  8. Fulda make a 215/40/17 with the correct load rating so do yokohama, Pirelli,Bridgestone(fulda is a subsidiary co of Bridgestone rev spec) and Toyo.
  9. 215/45 will touch on your guards depending on the offset of your rims. New struts will make it better as the stock ones will not last forever(prolly about 18 months) Kings are prolly the biggest manufacturer of springs in Australia and supply a lot of other companies who rebrand to their own product line. Kmac are not really heard of anymore in Australia. Kings will also be cheaper than Kmac.
  10. In the flesh this is an awesome looking car with this kit. The car itself isn't that low but the kit that makes it look as low as it does.
  11. Kings springs $220 Koni sport adjustables $1020. freight roughly to Sydney @$40. PM me if you need to know more :D
  12. If you move to Brisbane then you'll be moving to the heart and soul of the Corolla modding capital of Australia. :D :P This is where all the good stuff for your car originates from.....
  13. Pre facelift's don't have that problem :P or majority of other problems if they're silver :P
  14. Welcome to the forums and enjoy your stay. By the way SILVER is the best colour on a Sportivo. :P
  15. You could have bought a Stivo for that. JC picks his up on Sat(driving it home to Brissy from Sydney) and only paid 28 something for it with pedals, tint, bonnet protector, headlight protectors and floor mats.
  16. Saw an Ascent sports the other day with VVT10. VVTI in other words.
  17. Pays to advertise Big Russ. After all beggers can't be choosers :P Well was a pretty busy night with a lot of nostalgia cars running as today there is a big meet for them with classes etc. So a lot of cars used the test and tune as a warm up. Stock Sportivo vs Stock SP20 was won by the Sportivo by a margin of some 1.1-2 secs over the quarter. Superdave & Sportivo rice were within 3-4 tenths of each other at the end of the night. Not sure how many runs they had but Superdave was giving his car plenty of good ol' clutch off the line. All the Sportivo's were running street trim(full interiors and street tyres) and on a hot day and hot track the numbers weren't all that bad. Temp was 32Deg with a track temp of about the same even at 7pm!! Humidity went up to about 70 odd% at night and all other indicators were that it wasn't the "perfect" weather conditions for racing but they still had fun anyway. From memory Twilight's Mazda with Australia's Biggest Loser weight loss program run a pretty quick pass of 14.8 something but drag tyres are prolly the biggest difference in times there. He was able to just launch hard off the line and get some really good traction in a short distance whereas I was frying them when I hit lift in 1st then continuing it into 2nd as well. most of the other Mazda's I saw run were in the mid to high 16's with a couple of the turbo Astina's running a 15 sec pass and a wagon with nothing in it apart from half the dash and a seat was pretty quick too.
  18. Autobarn sell the Meguiars clay fall out bar with the solution in a pack for about $35.
  19. Don't buy BSA chrome wheels as the chrome is crap!! It starts to peel off and is of a very poor quality.Have seen this on more than 5 sets of BSA wheels and those who work in the tyre industry will tell you the same.
  20. Haven't seen anything yet but am assured by whiteline through my supplier that everything will be here next week. Spoke to them today. :D
