  1. You guys obviously like being "cop bait" with comments like that. <_<
  2. Wouldn't say technical but more informative and detailed. :D Shame there aren't a lot more informative posts being posted at the moment. :D
  3. Yep as per the instructions Northy has on the bottom of his posts.
  4. Perfect (makes you perfect if you practice lol)
  5. Sportivo cat back will work great on a 1ZZ. It's stainless steel and is already mandrel bent close to 2.25" :D
  6. You got to post a hell of a lot more crap before your at their league By the way boys Master Northy has just assumed his membership into the 1K club :D
  7. I think dylan and Azza have lost their crown/titles as the TOCAU forum whores. Move over boys here comes EVL_50A with almost 1000 posts in 6 months. :o Don't know if any of them are informative or have correct grammar but he's here to join the forum whore club. :P Azza and Dylan you need to begin his training :P
  8. 1zz or 2zz? Does that include resonator? Mild steel obviously and is it press bent or mandrel bent? Cause 2" is too small for 2zz as standard they're nearly 2.25" and for 1zz to get a gain you prolly need to go 2.25" as well. :D
  9. If your not confident to do it yourself then get a professional to do it as you'll end up making a hell of a mess. :( :( ;)
  10. Aerosol tyre shine????????? You guys are dodgy :o The biggest problem with spray on tyre shine is the amount of it that goes all over your car in thousands of tiny dots of silicon everywhere and all over your wheels.(especially if you have dark or chrome wheels as it's really noticable) And most of them are not that great at all. I use a tyre shine that i buy in bulk (20L) and it is brushed on with a brush and depending on what you like (super shiny or satin finish) you just buff the excess off with a soft cloth. That way you get no flick up the side of the car and your tyres look like new all the time. This stuff lasts for about 3-4 weeks and actually helps to keep the tyres clean as well. Meguiars endurance is a retail porduct that's similiar in quality to what i use. It's the small things like this that help you accumulate points to win trophies at car shows ;)
  11. Call a professional mobile paint touch up repairer :D
  12. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...cold+air+intake http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...cold+air+intake Guys please try and use the search button as this topic has been covered before witht the above threads being posted in in the last week or so. :( :( <_<
  13. LS1 oil usage was due to the blocks being bored incorrectly. The 3rd piston back on either bank had the bores out of round therfore major piston slap and rings not sealing properly. To fix it was nearly a 40 thou overbore. You'd think Holden would have fixed it straight away instead of letting it affect who knows how many engines.
  14. You Melbourne boys are lucky to have that sort of weather down there this time of year. Sunday in Brisbane was 31 degrees with about 75%humidity. <_< Hence the quickness of some of your times with 20 odd degrees and 30%humidity. After the the end of August we very rarely have temps or conditions like that during the day. That's why up here we try to go to meets at night time as that's when it's cool enough. ;)
  15. Some comments made on this thread are inappropriate and are almost leaning towards participating in street racing/being a hoon. <_< If this happens again the offenders will be receiving a warning as this forum in no way supports racing on the streets or driving unsafely in the wet.
  16. Doesn't even come close to fitting a facelift model as the grile is an entirely different shape as we have already told you. <_<Yes it does fit around the bonnet catch and across the radiator support panel but the grille is a different shape and is closer to the support panel. Hope you have read this as i will not explain it again. As for making them for the face lift model it could be a possibility but that depends on how many people want them. ;)
  17. Peekay did you run the Honda?? Or were you scared to be beat by a Stivo What times did all the other cars that attended run???
  18. Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 207 Weight without Driver (KG) : 1314 Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 160.06 0 - 60 (Secs) : 6.76 0 - 100 (Secs) : 17.33 60 - 100 (Secs) : 10.57 Quarter Mile (Secs) : 15.15 Terminal Speed (MPH) : 93.52 Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 14.95 Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 95.14 Using the caculator above, here are the figures it has predicted that my car would do.(the weight is with me in the car hence the extra 90kg's). :D The times predicted seem to be fairly close to what my car could possibly run. I have not yet had the chance to get it on the strip(have to do it without my wife knowing :o )but with Lucio's car having the same mods that I have give or take, to be some 1.2 secs quicker than what the caculator predicts in a perfect environment seems to me to be A; the car is a freak with massive HP or B; a simple electronic malfunction. :( If you've got a time slip to prove it then that's great but I've also got a supposed "speeding ticket" to say that I was speeding when I mighten have been. Maybe the radar gun was faulty with the speed it "supposedly" got me doing. Even sophisticated computers make mistakes(or their operators ;) )
  19. CES system is good but not 13.7 good. :o But then I could be wrong Are we sure we got the right time slip for the right lane for the right car??? But if you did run it then I'd guess your clutch is prolly just about stuffed ;)
  20. Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 207 Weight without Driver (KG) : 1224 Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 171.83 0 - 60 (Secs) : 6.39 0 - 100 (Secs) : 16.15 60 - 100 (Secs) : 9.77 Quarter Mile (Secs) : 14.78 Terminal Speed (MPH) : 95.64 Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 14.58 Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 97.32 Gotto love those quarter mile times If only you could convert that into reality :P
  21. That's why the CES system has had before and after dyno runs to show gains. The car doesn't leave the workshop. It went on the dyno then straight onto the hoist for system fitment then back on the dyno. :D Between runs was a total of 4 hours... can't get any more accurate than that. ;) And CES' style of dyno doesn't allow for "variables" to be doctored to pump up figures ;)
  22. If it's 10kw gain then can we see some proof of it? Like a dyno sheet, pics, prices, what it consists of or something. Is it DB legal is prolly another question that will be asked. :) Anybody care to shed some light on the topic????? :( Don't carline just do exhaust system replacements that are massed produced and replace the standard system and off the shelf stuff like pacemaker etc etc? Didn't think they would be doing custom work with stainless, maundrel bending custom fabrication and then doing dyno testing to show results. Cause they certainly don't do that up here in Brisbane. ;)
