  1. ANSWERS 1.Yes it will fit the 1ZZ. Gains of about 3-4kw. 2.No idea. Check members list to see who's from Perth and ask if they know. 3.TRD suspension bits will make a huge difference but it's quite pricey. They are plenty of other alternatives that are cheaper. Try whiteline for sway bars,camber bolts and strut braces. King springs for coils, Koni for struts. If you need to know more then PM myself or one of the other long term members of this site. :D

I received a message from my TRD supplier and he has said he'll match the TRD prices but I'm more than happy to let Kcorro deal with the TRD stuff as I don't really want the headache of chasing 2 lots of people for 2 separate group buys. If Marcus is happy with that kool if not then I 'll organise the both of them with for those interested.
  8. Kcorro's prices for TRD stuff is pretty good and I can't get close to what he has quoted. However for Whiteline Front strut brace,front sway and rear sway I can do the following; Whiteline front strut brace(adjustable) $160 Whiteline front sway bar$150 Whiteline rear sway bar$180 These are the prices and if there is a bulk order placed (ie 5 or more of each item) then freight will be nil. The best way to work this would be for one person in Sydney and one in Melbourne to be the mailing address that way they can be distributed to those who purchased.   11. Different gear box in the S2000 to the type r. The majority that I've heard about are "lack of oil related" but there has been 1 instance that a miss shift was prolly the case due to a couple of bent valves. :o
  12. Whiteline front strut braces are $160 plus postage. But again if I get enough interest i may be able to get the price down some more. :D
  13. As always, you're a fountain of knowledge, Silva, but I just have one amendment ... I think in another post I think the jury was still out on whether the Stivo cat-back was of benefit to auto 1ZZ's. We only have one such case on record, though, so if another auto 1ZZ owner wants to give it a go, talk to Silva about the Stivo cat back he mentioned above. Svalerko put a sportivo cat back on his 1zz and got gains proven on the dyno. I agree with you on the auto side of things buddha as an auto does drain a hell of a lot of power out of the motor. Maybe with an auto try the 2.25" diameter with a slightly more restrictive muffler to increase the back pressure a bit. My thoughts on the matter but it could be worth a shot. As for putting the stivo cat back on the sedan I've had a look and it does look to be the same floor plan as the hatch. Easy way to check is get the 2 side by side and measure the wheel base from stub to stub as the rest of the underside of the car is the same. But they do look pretty close. :D

  16. Why are you all going to replace your systems with the same diameter piping? 1zz go 2.25" and 2zz you go 2.5". If you really want an icrease you'll do it or if your after noise or a fancy tip and muffler you'll do whatever you want. But average Jo blo exhaust shop doesn't have a clue when it comes to our cars. If any of you want a Sportivo cat back for your 1zz then PM me as I may just have something for you ;)

Of all the stuff you've listed above i haven't heard of any of it apart from pedders camber kit and I didn't think that you could adjust camber on the rear.(when you lower it you'll have about -1 degree camber anyway). Sway bars sound like direct replacements for stock and if anybody has heard of noltec and signiture then please explain
  19. How do you know it's running lean? Cause it blew a gasket and some paint burnt off. Could it be that the flange wasn't tight and bad preparation or the wrong paint was used? Unless you have an air/fuel ratio meter or it's been dynoed then it gonna be pretty hard to tell if it's running rich. As for the different heads on the 2zz seems that PRE FACELIFT IS THE WAY TO GO....and of course silver is always faster :P
  20. That's your car's way of telling you that it's rejecting the "race pipe" and wants proper muffler. :P
  21. The S200 issue is prolly not so much to do with the brand of oil but more to do with the owners not doing the services at the recommended service intervals. I've got a few friends who work for Honda and the S2000 has to have the oil changed every 5000kms(or something close to that) because of the type of engine they are(high revving N/A). They actually use a little bit of oil not through crankcase pressure and the ability to rev highly for long periods. If you don't do you services at the regular intervals then you run low on oil and then you lose oil pressure and the rest is all mathematical. 1 case that i heard of was a S2000 owner complaining of an engine knock which was big ends and when they checked his servicing record he had gone 22 000 kms with out a service and hence the oil level was really low and oops! Sorry about the engine knock but it's not covered by warranty because you didn't do the services.
