Are you guys talking about power at the wheels or the flywheel. Cause if you're talking about power at the wheels then I want one. I wouldn't be complaining about 122 or 126kw at the wheels and neither would anybody in Australia who owns a Stivo. If that's the case then that's impressive if your car is relatively stock. If you could clarify this for us that would be great. But if these figures are gospel then what is the difference between a Stivo and a Runx rsi? Would like to know. Not sure about the dyno sheet:- hand written values and figures? I know you guys in Aus aren't too shy to give me your thoughts on this topic! :P :P ( Not having a go at you guys in SA. Definately try a set of decent brake pads before spending a truck load of cash on new rotors. i am currently investigating with a company I deal with about making semi race and a full race pad for the Sportivo. The semi race pad will work from cold so street application is fine but works under extreme braking conditions as well. Christmas mmm lots of eating,drinking and not a lot of anything else. Well it's a job change for me in 05 as well. Been doing the same thing for 13 years so now is as good of a time to change as any.(helps if you've got another job to go to!) If you want something interesting to read go and design,research and produce a performance part for a Stivo and post it on this forum to watch the drama, whinging and ridiculous comments unfold before your very eyes! :P For those with a "thin skin" don't take offence as I didn't with some of your comments!!! (think that will get the ball rolling! happy reading)

Hey adammac Autobarn etc used to sell trd throw overs and other brands but due to a loop hole in copyright laws being closed the companies producing these products are now no longer able to sell anything with a logo or similiar on them or face being fined. I got the last TRD throw over in any Autobarn store in Qld about 6 months ago. Tried to get another but there are none left in the country. The only ones available now are NOS, Holley or what ever each store has in stock.(not just autobarn,supercheap etc). Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it might save you a lot of running around for nothing. Cheers SILVABULLIT :D

Does leaving your headlights, interior light, hazzard flashes or any other lights on your car on qualify you for the who can glow in the dark the best trophy? Hey Northy you don't need neons to enter as we all have seen just how bright you could get your clutch plate to glow!!! :P :P MMM, nice warm red glow from under your car... Your in with a chance for best custom lighting without the use of neons!

Good to see some one who actually reads all the info zee and doesn't pick and choose words to make a sentence! I have the mentioned items in my posession and just need the time when my wife doesn't want to use the car and i'm available to put them on. Mod to cai is still up in the air at the moment as I will be calling on some specialist help. I'll post some pics when it's finished and on the car though. As for the dyno sheets calling on you computer heads in Brisbane to do that for me as I'm a novice when it comes to computers. Ask me to present a car for a show? Too easy. How many trophies do you want to go home with? As for posting pictures - how many stuff up do you want!!!!!

Hames'car is stock! Very freakish to have 104.5kw. Kyle's has TRD CAI and exhaust, and aftermarket clutch.My car has CES exhaust and K&N panel filter and nothing else.When my car was stock it had 96kw atw so you're right in saying about 95kw at the wheels for a stocky. But Hames' car has us all puzzled? He's thinking of selling it but after the dyno he may have changed his mind!!!

Hey guys Big thanks to all who came for a great day. We have agreed to make this a six monthly event in which CES have obliged to let us use their facilities again. A big thank you to Trevor and Leslie from CES for the great food and drink, use of facilities(dyno etc) and Trevor answering all the technical questions thrown at him! Kyles car took the honours of being the loudest at 122db with most of the others ranging from 105db to about 115db. Some one was talking about posting graphs(I think cause I'm not sure how to!) and you will see that all the Sportivo's have similar graphs with the main difference in power varying from about 4000rpm through to lift and then to redline. Most of the difference can be seen when lift is hit and according to mods done as to how steep the graph jumps up to peak power. It was a really good comparison to have all the cars on the same dyno on the same day and compare results and how certain mods made power in different ways. So if you missed out this time then bad luck but about May/June next year we will have it again so start planning to come and participate on the dyno and in the show and shine. Here here blue sportivo my friend :D Trevor's dyno is quite accurate and in some terms better than the latest as the figures can't be "tampered with". You can't adjust the amount of drag on the rollers and change settings etc as you can with a dyno dynamics dyno. I've back to back tested on Trevor's dyno and then on a dyno dynamics dyno and the difference is exactly 2kw. no 2 dynos ever read the same so this shows that albeit the bosch dyno is a little old it still reads pretty accurate. OK some of you will whinge about there's no torque curve but that about all it doesn't show. It tells you that you've made a gain and where in the rev range so is that not important enough? As i've said before other testing will be done on a more up to date dyno when time and money allows. Craig will go to FIST and get a run done there as that's where he has done all his testing. Anyway tomorrow is another day... DYNO DAY!!!!! Only one more sleep!!!!

Judge Judy well yes and as for Colonel Klink and Shultz... I knows nutting..nutting :P they may make an appearance as well. I have two judges who will in no way be biased towards me and if anything be harder on my car than the rest. Judging guidelines have been drawn up for Saturday and we can also use them for future events as well. A standard car has as much chance of winning a trophy as a modified car. Points aren't awarded for mods or the amount of but more so for the condition of the interior and cleanliness of interior for example. So if you spend the time to clean your car then you have as much of a chance as everyone else to win. I have also got a variety of prizes for various other categories as well.Thanks to RBT Detailing and Motorsport for sponsoring the trophies and for Autobarn Logan City and JB hi fi Kedron for prizes as well. I'll have to ring the doctor who's doing it and tell him to prescribe a bottle of "harden up" pills to help in your recovery. :P :P

It maybe the fact that you modified the front of your car on a wall that makes it feel smoother. A rough technique I admit Craig but if it works for you and your gearbox then possibly go and hit a bigger wall and see if it elimates gearbox trouble all together! :P :P :P On a serious note though my car does run better on optimax over ultimate and optimax is more readily available to where I live. As for making the gearbox change better can't comment on that one as I have no dramas with my box as i have a great additive that has probably gone a long way to solve any problem I might've had. :D

Get both as they will compliment each other in the power stakes. more in more out! Combine the cai and exhaust and you'll get a very nice increase indeed! As well as a combination of beautiful notes from the front and back of the car.
