  1. Clean???? That's because he just cleaned it at my house before a few of those pics were taken. And he buckled under the pressure from me, JC and Azza to wash it cause it was damm filthy LOL (waiting for the almight North flame to hit me LOL)
  2. Unless you are running car audio that requires a lot of power then any battery will be good enough as long as it starts the car and supplies power to whatever needs it!! I currently have a Century battery in my car.
  3. Well I will be there and yes the finances will be tight for me to get there but seeing as my car will be up for sale in june this will be the first and last time some of you will see it. You may know someone who would want to buy it!!! Anyway for those who miss out because of Uni tough luck and maybe this will happen next year but then again it mighten. For those who are not coming because someone who you don't like is coming to this meet then please grow up and get over yourself. Hell i work with people I cannot stand(lazy buggars) but I still turn up for work(general example) so guys if you can look past the nose on your own face and turn up you never know..... that person/persons you don't like might just be a good bloke/girl after all. I will be trying to meet everyone who is there as putting the name to the faces and the cars will make chatting on this forum a hell of a lot easier for me!! Over and out and back to getting my car ready....:)
  4. Mine weighs 1319kg with full load of fuel and me in it. weighed it a bit over a year ago. 100kg seems very wrong unless you have removed all the interior and glass as well as you weigh something like Wei Wei :P
  5. Early??? I'm up about 40 minutes before that time LOL that is the time I leave for work(45- 60min drive) Yes will be sad to see her go but if you're at the national meet you'll get a look before she moves onto another owner stock or modified.....
  6. Can't wait for this meet it's looking good!!!! But sadly all goood things must come to an end and this will be the last hurrah for the Silvabullit before she goes up for sale :(
  7. Just be careful as the wiring diagram he posted up was wrong for my car and a few others. The correct wires were different colours than he specified for the drivers rear or something like that. PM Northy as he may remember. We installed mine a long long time ago and I ain't getting any younger.......
  8. Dunno about the canister Jason didn't have enough time to have a really good look!! As for lag etc etc the turbo on the car was supplied by the owner and that was what he wanted to use. Bill's set up would perhaps be better to drive but the boys at CES have done what they can with what they have been supplied. Engine has been rebuilt with forged internals(pistons, rods valves, springs etc etc) so me thinks engine isn't the weak point but more so the gearbox and suspension(stock shocks with low kings). It should push some pretty decent numbers so i will update sometime this week with more info.....
  9. Car is nearly complete and the day I took these pics it was off to the tuners for the final pieces of the puzzle aka ECU, injectors etc. Looks awesome!!!
  10. Could be someone who has just driven through a river????
  11. those kind of figures could be on a dynapak hub dyno. they read a lot higher than say a dyno dynamic dyno
  12. get your mufflers custom made if you are wanting to extract every bit of power out of it. you could go with the cheapish Chinese made x force if you want or redback but go to an exhaust shop that manufactures mufflers ans systems not just fits off the shelf stuff. give them some engine specs etc etc then if they are decent they will be able to tell you what diameter pipe and what type/types of mufflers and resonators you will need to run to get the power and also still be legal noise wise.
  13. im yet to see a corolla both 1zz and 2zz that has not gained peak power from intake, exhuast and ECU... was just thinking the same thing... I've got an 03 Sportivo and stock had 96kw before the ecu and airbox recall was done. Added CES cat back exhaust which bumped it up to 105kw then got the recall done and fitted a TRD CAI which then bumped it up to 114.75kw. I then added CES ported headers and changed oil type which bumped power up to 120kw. 120kw was achieved when my car had 83 000k's on it. It now has 106 000k's on it and still going strong....
  14. Just make sure you don't drop the MAF sensor or you will be screwed!!! They do not like to be handled roughly!!!
  15. it's not that hard to pick out stock vs non stock swaybars!! What the??? I thought we were talking about Strut braces?????? Shao put down the peace pipe LOL Yes a strut brace does make a difference but picking the difference between brands is what I would consider almost impossible....
  16. Spottted LTS60 this arvo coming out of Coco's at kingston. I blew the horn at you russ but you didn't even look!!!! I was in the bus you slacko....
  17. Well i have 106 000k's on my 2zz and no problems at all. Early 2zz's did have problems with lift bolts breaking but they were superceeded with an upgraded bolt. all this was done before we saw the 2zz here in Australia. Plus I don't think we get the 1zzge here in Australia either...
  18. Honestly unless you plan on attacking the track every weekend and have done a lot of other upgrades then all of these braces under the car will do nothing that you can feel driving on the street every day. Even the difference between sway bars would be really hard to pick. Never heard of whiteline front strut brace breaking. Yes Pippy did break a rear sway bar but that is an isolated incident to his car. I've had whiteline fron strut brace and rear sway bar on my car for ages and have never had a problem. But yes a front strut brace does reduce roll understeer. So I guess it comes down to just how much money you want to throw at a strut brace and whether or not you want the fancy paint and brand names on it as well. Or you can make the Whiteline one look better with a bit of time and effort(and some sort of painting ability :P )
  19. and if you don't then maybe it gets deleted??
  20. Try Jetspeed for body kits and different styles of kits. They can be really slow sometimes with delivery. there are a few shops in Moss st Slacks Creek that do fit kits and sell them as well. Or try carmate.com.au as they ahve a few different styles to give you an idea.
  21. 2ZZ??? Let it warm up first cause until the engine reaches a specific operating temperature VVTLI won't kick in and it will rev to 7k on the low cam only.
