if its 320kms of highway driving then tht is jst fine...with it being reg. serviced make sure u can see some reciepts or log book....is this car in dubbo by ne chance? it is true tht v6 takes more looking after than the 4ies...i got a 4cycl 95 csi cam....never ever had ne problems with it ever...tht being said its only done like 105kms...if the camry is taken care of then it will last way more than 300kms...

MK1 is the aw11 and the MK2 is the SW20....so there was no cosmetic changes to the SW20 when they added the brack package to it?

well for one cams r very reliable cars thts y lots of family opt to purchase em....it could be just a head gasket....if its buring oil thts not a good thing....i wld get a mechanic to help u check it out....cam parts r quite cheap....if its a reliable car u want i would def. stick with lookin at a cam...how much r u willing to spend?

looks like the guy u bought it off used a cheap ebay resistor to trick the MAF sensor....jst try to remove it...bt considering it is if its been fused on i wld go to an auto electrician to remove tht....good luck mate!!

hey guys im in the market for a Mr2 sw20...but i have seen that there are two types MK and an MKII...wats the difference between the two? do they have exactly the same body and interior?? is it jst a different engine in the mk2?? cheers

yeah i can soo relate the current car im driving around is my mums camry and its auto....i have nearly drifted off to sleep coz its an auto...when i had a manual i was always alert...i just love changing gears!!!

i think some of its gotta do with being a guy....all my guy mates prefer manual...bt a few em talk it up...put them behind the wheel and they stall..haha.. ...bt the dudettes i know all say auto except one of the chicks she likes the manual coz of control ( i bet she controls the relationship too :P ) newyz do ne of u guys remember tht mancan ad...where the dude has the xr8 ute and the other dude wants to go for a drive and then he says "its manual" then his chest inflates ??? i just love tht ad...lol

i have to pay 1700 if i crash some1 ...550 wow simo bud...i would keep tht under tight wraps...dont tell them nething...and when u have to pay ur excess (hopefully u wnt need to) and they try to charge u more...jst show em the document saying how much ur excess was...its thier fault if they made a mistake u shldnt have to pay for their problems....coz insurance companies r ******ers newayz....

platinum tipped plugs will last u like 5years or every 95,000ks...i dunno how normal plugs last for...does ne1 here noe how long non-plantinum lasts?

haha cheers mate...that sure did help...and it sounds right...lol (camry going to a strip club...haha)...nah tht like makes more sense...if u look out on the roads camry is driven by grannys, celica by younger ppl, and mr2 perhaps even younger guys who push it hard....ill get my mechanic to help me buy one...if i dont find a decent mr2 ill def get the celica st184 or st204....thanks dude

if u go to a local mechanic they will charge u way less....u can try asian mechanics bt like i said they tried to rip me off....next time ill get an asian guy to get a quote ....newyz good luck...yeah i heard the xedys will set u back a bit more...bt everyone says its worth it...it shld last a long long time....provided u aint doin ne tokoyo drifting :P...take it easy dude

ta mate...that was well written...i do the whole chamois dry thing then jst use wax...its my old mans car...im just taking care of it coz he doesnt have the time to...and YES its freakin annoying...im just trying to keep the paint in good nick coz i think he will be selling it soon...so we want to get a good price on it...its a light coloured car..bt thanks newyz dude...ill get the meguiars wax for sure...every1 seems to rave abt it!!
