hey guys i need a lil help with something.....my dashboard has like a few specs of dust inside on the speedometer...i know i am fussy...bt it gets HELL annoying...and does anyone know how i can change the colour of my dash...was thinkin abt going white or blue... thanks in advance

yeah i got a friend whos dads a mechanic he can do the engine swap for me....bt if the car is not totally crap hopefully jst the engine then yeah it wld be a bargin :D

you just let him go like that? why didn't u get him to repair the damages..? it was jst a lil ding i could have but then i thght i shldnt get into it coz im a Red P plater...he wld prob crash his car and blame it on me...and we all know how insurance companies like to blame P platers....its not worth it

man i feel the same way too...i got my car totally repainted start of this year and yes its a camry tooo...abt a month after i go it done i was sitting in my car waiting for my GF and some asian dude parks his new 2005/6/7 honda civic and opens the door and slams my front passenger door...so i got out of the car and said wat the f*** are u doing....do u want me to key ur car??? lol guy was all scared and started to sweat like crazy....if it was some built wog guy i prob wldnt have done nethin..lol...bt coz he slammed his car door into mine and he was kinda scrawny lookin i thght i might as well do something...since my GF was gettin her nails and wax job i was like meh i got 30mins to spare y not...lol...btw all i got out of tht was scaring some asian guy...lol...im pathetic i know...bt i jst wanted to make a point to him even tho my camry aint as expensive as his new civic i still have pride for my ride...seriously i think its not worth repainting unless ur plannin to keep it as a show car and lock it up in ur garage...coz some idiot is gonna ruin ur nice paintjob...

I took the snorkel (snorkey baaaaad) and have also felt a much more responsive mid-range. Still just a standard paper filter as I'm not satisfactorily convinced another type of panel filter will be advantageous in the way that I drive. Mind you, XMas is coming up, and so is my birthday, so if someone wants to buy me a pressie, I wont argue. Hey Rob - you always said I was worth the money! ;) i went to autobarn on boxing day picked up a K&N panel filter for 80 bucks i havent used it yet coz my original paper filter is still pretty clean...cant wait to stick it in and feel the difference

hey sorry abt this post...i just dunno where it belongs... ...my question is wat wax/polish do u guys use/ recommend for a new car..and how often are u supposed to wax/polish a new car...this car does alot of Ks on country roads every weekend and it gets alot of bugs and stone chips and lets not mention heaps of country dirt :D u gotta luv tht stuff makes the car look like a true blue aussie machine..lol......and does anyone know where i can get a car bra for a toyota camry 2005 altise...i live in the sydney area... yeah ur spot on 1990...i thght it looked okay..but now im a bit skeptical coz like u said gearbox, powersteering and CV joints..(not too fussed abt AC)ill go check it out first...i rather get an ST204 coz its alot newer..prob is havent seen one under 5gs...im hoping some1 sells an St204 with a blown engine for under 5gs...then i got myself a new ride :D..thanks for the advice so far!

it is possibly a stolen car tht the police have repossed...i wouldnt buy from any other catalogue except the government commercial/passenger vehicles, those have been well looked after and serviced regularly and most of em r still under factory warranty...btw another similaR auction is http://www.pickles.com.au/

when we were there it was random....bt ill give u a tip...dont bid at the start coz theres soo many ppl there....wait till middle and hopefully ur car will be up and ur sure to grab a bargin!!!! if i was u i wld jst go and check out the auctions before u pick ur fav...see how it works and right down the prices of the cars u wanted....every week they have similar model cars so dont worry if u think u missed out...hope tht helps

yep parents bought a 2005 v6 altise camry for 15gs only had 38,000ks on the clock...i think its good coz government cars are normally well looked after...just dont get the repossed or toyota, holden, ford fleet cars (i personally think those ones have been flogged)...only bad thing is you cant test drive...but u can start them up and basically chek out the whole car i reckon its a bargin...good luck its def worth a visit to check the cars out!!

well i also found out that AAMI unlike other insurance companies chooses who you get ur car repaired with...and the smash repair aami is making us go to is sooo dodgy..like they are asking close to 2gs for just changing a light and painting a bit of the bumper and side panel....i reckon theres a lil bit of under the table money involved, if u know wat i mean.... btw danny is u car driveable??? and did u say u been waiting for 1 month or for months??
