  1. Looking good mate. Nice to see you have a helping hand with cleaning Like those headrest monitors as well how they have the cover for them. Also never realised the Sportivo leather seats were designed like that (as in the raised bit either side of the headrest). That was something I noticed on the TRD and thought only those seats had. Edit: Disregard my last comment. I had forgotten what my Sportivo looked like... just in cloth.
  2. F*** it. We need the real deal:
  3. I remember going on that one at Disneyland Japan. Equally as funny in Japanese.
  4. Oh yeah to answer the question: Stop drinking it. It clearly shows that it does serious brain damage.
  5. If you aren't tired of riding in an Aurion... I'll take you around.
  6. Wow. Having a go at people because of where they live as a comeback. I think you are the one that fails in life.
  7. It won't be goodbye because you have changed sections, it will be goodbye once a moderator comes along.
  8. It never went off-track until you posted in it you idiot.
  9. Pretty much. I was typing my reply just before yours was posted. Sorry to the OP for the double up.
  10. Shocks are different to suit the springs, same sway bars but apparently the Sportivo has solid ones compared to hollow ones on the AT-X. You can, but you will need to obtain a rear parcel shelf from a grade without the rear spoiler that has a different design with the third brake light built in.
  11. I would imagine it is possible but you would most likely need to do a fair bit of tinkering (and some custom design) to get it to work... much like in that attached link. If you choose to attempt that, you are on your own sorry. The part number is as follows: 89430-33100 COMPUTER ASSY, OUTER MIRROR CONTROL You will firstly have to buy some aftermarket power folding mirrors, and then wire it up with the included wiring harness. Such example would be this one (same fit as the Aurion even though it says Camry): http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOYOTA-camry-power-folding-signal-side-mirror-assembly_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3ef741225dQQitemZ270436213341QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
  12. Excluding the TRD springs
  13. Very nice. What I'm not liking though is that it is SOOOOO much more dirty than the original photo
  14. The engine won't freeze under normal liveable environmental conditions. As long as you haven't changed the coolant to anything that doesn't contain anti-freeze and follow the engine oil recommendations, you will be perfectly fine. Car engines are built to handle freezing cold environments. For all conditions, cold or not, I always recommend letting the engine idle after first turning it on until the idle revs drop to 1000RPM or lower and until the temperature gauge moves onto the scale and is sitting on or above the cold line. In warmer conditions, this only takes about 30 seconds, but in colder conditions just expect to wait a little longer. After that, just drive it gently till it gets to operating temperature.
  15. Add you name to the list below.... 1.Silvabullit 2.Northy 3.DJKOR 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.
  16. Watched this on Facebook after Ingres posted it. They need to make these.
  17. As long as you don't expect it to transform into a sports car, then you won't be disappointed. I wouldn't say it would combat it. It will make it slightly harder to get body roll from the weight transfer, but the bar only has so much torsion. As the weight transfer increases, the bar effectiveness will decrease.
  18. Today I made up a strip of IR LED's and mounted them nice and low to complement my reverse camera in night conditions. It was a bit of a failure as it doesn't light up much, but it helps for when things are in close proximity and down low. Also found a couple more DataDot patches hiding on the bodywork of the car.
  19. Firmer. but not lower. The bodykit on the Sportivo makes it look lower but that's about it. TRD springs on the other hand are 15mm lower. Edit: You know... it could technically be lower but it will be in the single digit mm.
  20. Realistically, you have to ask yourself what YOU feel most comfortable with. Also, are you going to buy new. If you don't drive it much, then an AT-X may work out the best value since it won't be doing all that much. But then again, I'm not one to decide on what fits you best. You may want to have all the luxury features of the Presara despite barely driving it, or you may want the sporty looks of the Sportivo even if it's just an A to B car. Go to a dealer and have a sit in all of the different types if you can and try to imagine which one you would prefer to have.
  21. I personally haven't heard of damage occurring by having all your keys etc hanging off your car key, but no doubt there will be someone out there who has reported such. I used to have a bunch of keys for numerous things hanging off my car key (about 15 different keys in total) and the ignition tumbler never changed in it's feel. I'm sure there would be a weight limit as after all it is extra stress, but for your average bunch of keys and keyrings, you should be fine. Get something that weighs 400g and you will notice that you would have to have a fair few keys etc to reach that weight. Most car's I have come across, the ABS light is only there as a system self-check light and a malfunction indicator. It should only light under the following conditions: 1) When you start the car. It should turn on for a few seconds or so then turn off. This indicates everything is okay. 2) When there is a problem with the system. The light should illuminate and stay on to tell you that something is wrong and you should have it checked out.
  22. Surprisingly it wasn't. To get it to make some noise like when I was accelerating in the tunnels, I had to get it to shift into 2nd then apply about 1/2 to 2/3 throttle. Any more than that it would firstly have a good tendency to kick into 1st to get more acceleration or it would simply pick up revs too quickly. Once the revs get high, the engine noise alone is louder than the supercharger. It's a shame it is too quiet. You don't hear much supercharger whine out there. Well here's more what a supercharged Toyota should sound like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2rs2jklMOOs
  23. After seeing Andrew's video, I felt like mucking around as well. Since I was fuelled up on caffeine and was quite bored, I headed out for a drive. Hit up the Clem7 (Kim7 for the day) as well since all tolls are being donated to Think Pink (went through twice just before midnight). Unfortunately the TRD Aurion just doesn't make as much noise as Andrew's. A bit of a disappointment that is. In addition to that, it is harder to capture the sound because the TVS makes more noise in it's lower RPM's and gets quieter the faster it spins. Add to the fact that it's not very easy to get a WOT condition on low revs on an automatic that doesn't hold gears, and the end result isn't very satisfying. Nevertheless, I have the following clips... including my favourite highway offramp at the end just for fun:
