  1. Kennards or Coates should have them.
  2. Have you drained the oil? Is there any metal in it? Also does it sound top or bottom end? A trick to test is using a screw driver as a stethoscope. Some main and rod bearings can actually be changed whilst the engine is in the car, but I stress it is the dodgy way to do it and a prick of a job, just depends on the car. I don't mind helping but where I am working at the moment doesn't give me any time during daylight hours. Bottom end work defintely requires light.
  3. Will it crank by turning the key? Did the coolant run dry?
  4. And for him to make feeble attempts to recover his phone while trying to hide the fact he was using Mick as his last ditch effort to get his slug wet... :/ Haha, Slug.
  5. I think we should replace you with him. That way we would have a "Branno" that shows up each week :P
  6. People lie, sadly it happens. That is the risk of not buying from a dealer. It is up to you to have the car checked over before purchasing, you have that right to do so. He may not know very much about it at all, he might think it looks shiny on the outside so it's fine on the inside.
  7. The LS series of engines that are in the V8 models are made by Chevrolet, not to mention that Holden falls under the General Motors banner along with Chevrolet. But yeah I think it's pointless, but there is the connection. There are other models that people re-badge as well.
  8. Dead man walkin :P We we will be there, in a Toyota since everyone else is driving "flash" cars now. WHO LIKES CUPCAKES???
  9. ZING!!! I think I just chubbed a little.
  10. BINGO!!! Sadly though, pulling that plug could have saved you $500.
