  1. The twin pistons have the advantage of a more controlled and better distributed clamping force. Instead of only applying force to the centre of the pad they are hitting both sides. Think of it like a G-Clamp only holding something quite large from the centre(tries to spin, not much force or control) as opposed to something on either end. They made a hell of a difference on my Camry, with a rotor that wasnt that much bigger(I4 to V6 brake swap).
  2. I've done a Camry drum to disc. Toyota had a habit of using the same hubs if a model came with variatons of drum and disc, and disc all around. All you need is the parts from the all round disc version if there was one made and possibly the proportioning valve.
  3. It turns of when it's past my bed time. Well, I know google is everyone's friend, but might as well just answer his question. That being said...sleep time.
  4. I just did a quick google and every site tells me that it has 430KW at the front wheels. What the sh*t...It's got like 200-210HP, which is around 160kW.
  5. Bad idea, the meet at the loop is a Toyota meet, you have other people invited on Facebook, I guarantee other members will be p*ssed of at you if a bunch of unwated people acting like idiots rock up. Might be an idea to come to a meet before organising this.Just be mindful of who you invite.
  6. I could have swore closed loop was when the O2 sensor heated up(ECU controlled AFR) and open loop was when the car first started(determines fuel amount by coolant temp and MAP/MAF). Just remembering back to trade school.
  7. For those who don't know, it is a 4 digit number such as 0410. The first 2 digits represent the week and the second 2 represent the year, so in this case it is week 4 of 2010.
  8. Nic and I are both karting. Give you the money on Thursday night. So you should bring some sought of note taking material :P
  9. Thats a hell expensive exhaust...are the extractors custom made too?
  10. Just keep in mind which part of the car you are modifying, it's not somewhere that you want to cut any kind of corners.
  11. I dont know if there is any legal writing, however I can research it, but I would STRONGLY advise against it.
  12. Well im 40-60mins away from the city so I can't physically see the weather there and there is talk of rain, so I asked/
  13. The standard harmonic balancer removes engine vibrations, it's 'heavy' because its full of rubber. In my opinion 5kW is not worth the cons.
  14. Non-dampened? You will regret it...
  15. Are they sure it's the the steering rack? I know the front sway bar bushes flog out in them pretty bad.

Hrmmm... Is there a poking yourself in the eye option at all? Well he said Sydney, I don't touch bodykits, period.
  17. You can use a small turbo and still blow and engine up if you are clueless and screw up the AFR's.
