  1. I don't think you will get many people wanting to show off their modded cars to the police.
  2. I think a Commodore would be a better option for her Stu, this site www.boostcruising.com.au is very helpful with them. B)
  3. That is not totalled, it's a few dints Also Andrew, it would look way better with some underbody neons and a NOS button.
  4. Leather is bad for cornering, maybe try some recaros or something unless you wanted the cloth seats. Not sure if I will be there, I may have some work stuff to do Thurs night.
  5. I had the same issue with my old Hurricane extractors. After replacing the whole exhaust it turned out to be the Hurricanes. Replaced them with some Wildcats(Made by Genie) and hey presto problems fixed. Must just be a poor quality steel.
  6. QANTAS called, they want their wing back That thing is huge.
  7. Closer pics of the CF? Brakes make the wheels look too small :P
  8. Hot damn, that is nice. Looks tough, not 100% sold on the wing though.
  9. did you think to even check? yes i did do a search before i posted this. came up with no results.. just said that in case there was something here about it and i didnt find it. The search function on TOCAU sucks compared to the old one.
  10. We got a set of Kumho KU23 in 17's the other week and I am pretty impressed.
  11. You are the second car in Australia i have heard of it happening to. As it is a warranty required repair, they should foot the bill and have it steam cleaned. Any damages is Toyotas fault.
  12. Carmate are in Villawood and their product is sh*t. Personally don't put a kit on the Gen 3, it kills the natural lines and most look like a snow plow. Shipping from the US will cost around $1000.
  13. They actually don't have to take the water pump off to do the timing belt, but it's a good idea to do it at the same time as it saves on labour as everything is already off. That's actually a fairly decent price, it's a fairly labour intensive job to do a timing belt, plus the rest of that list of jobs. You got a reasonable deal.
  14. It doesn't sound like a torque converter issue. The torque converter transmits drive from the flywheel/flex plate to the transmission's input shaft. If it was having issues it would not transmit drive at all. Not just reverse. It kind of sound like your ECU may be on the blink if its having an ABS fault simultaneously with a transmission fault.
  15. :/ the city isnt that hard If I can do it week in and week out without a GPS, anyone can. Just print out some google maps. Pull over if required and memorise that sh*t.
  16. I'm out for this week, need to finish some stuff off for work tomorrow.
