  4. Oh great, who voted for this f***ing guy :P
  5. Damn it, i opened this thinking it was was a thread about me but oh well, he's not bad either.
  6. The S53(4 Cyl Camry) gearbox should be good for 300whp before it goes kaboom, i'll try push that theory as much as possible. Stu the 5S-GTE is what I'm currently building, well it may be a 5S-GE for a while.
  7. Or you could make a 5SGTE :P minus the qantas wing
  8. Yeah the 242 is the blue and removes reasonably easy and 271 is the red which required a heat to loosen in most cases.
  9. Andrew has a different kind of blue nuts...but these look better than i thought they would
  10. If you don't do it, i will consider you a weiny...
  11. Why would you want to turn it off? Just put your seat belt on, that's why it is there, to annoy the sh*t out of you until you put it on.
  12. It's mostly diesel, so trucks, buses, earthmoving equipment, generally fairly heavy work. It's hard work but good pay. A qualified diesel mechanic will start in most decent mines on $100,000+ providing you can get a foot in the door. Light vehicle will be working on mostly passenger cars and what not. Most dealerships won't offer much more than $500-$600 per week.
  13. There's a good chance the head(s) could be cooked, the pistons could even have suffered heat damage as well. You won't know the exact cost until you pull the engine down.
  14. A V6 isn't illegal if it was originally fitted.
  15. Re-read the questions please...Yes to all of them means nothing. The reason I ask about the handbrake lever, is the cables can seize. If it just flops down whilst released, there is a good chance the cables are seized.
  16. Did it look like the brake shoes were wet? Next question is if the rear is jacked up, will the foot brake hold the rear wheels? Also does the handbrake lever drop with no resistance once its released or feel normal?
