  1. Mmmmm it does means stick out a lot. 15cm (i am good measuring thing with my mind).... It may look odd without the nudge bar as it will nearly look like a set of wings in the car.!
  2. Scott love the Kingston sidesteps... which one are you thinking and can you get the model number for it. I am struggling to find it, perhaps I should go to a local dealer... Thanks for your help Cheers EDIT: Bladerunner does look very nice. Decision decision
  3. I have just tow the sports car to Winton (Benalla) and back. 500km with 1300kg on the trailer 650kg. Well ... I will tell my towing experience in another thread. But towing cost petrol, naturally. When I go to Benalla, I have V Power and it takes 16.9L/100km When I come back, I put the rest of my V Power racing in the tank (I did not end up using my tank in the car :() but the power increase and the fuel consumption drops! to 14.9L/100km. May be wind, but the total mass is 60L of petrol lighter. But I am sure V Power Racing rocks!
  4. I tow the car up from Melbourne to Benalla. It averages 16.7L/100km in V power. ****
  5. CX-9 comes with 245/50 R20...
  6. never try and never will... it (the owner's manual) says the power tailgate will not operate while the car in motion.......
  7. That is strange? How does the people with Disco 3 get up the snow then? (they have 18" with 19")
  8. That will be a good help. I have a 3 and 14 months as well, and the 3rd roll has to be used by small adults, not the kids yet
  9. Thanks you prob don't have much traffic where you drive. I found if you are in the city, the best is to mix some 98 Octane (V power, Vortex 98, or Mobil 8000) with 91 RON (normal unleaded). You will improve a city average on the AWD from over 16L/100km to under 15! It is more obvious when you have 70L full of 91`use about 60km and put 10L of 98 RON in it, you will see the average drop like nothing!
  10. I am puzzled.... I don't understand why a peripheral listen device like a bluetooth handset (in this case is a car phone system) is dependant on the network. Isn't this just the phone problem (either it is Motorola or the user). I connect mine Nokia N95 (Smartphone based) and my wife's Sony W880i (normal plan GSM phone) on the Optus plan no problem. I get my Grande Kluger to autoconnect to my phone or my wife's by just going to Phone setup> select phone > and press the phone (which I can store 6). I don't see the drama...
  11. They printed as 100kmh... so you are saying that they are doing close to 200kmh? Can Kluger even gets to 200kmh?
  12. How come the NZ government is much smarter than ours.... now that both governments are run by women... (at least one is and the other looks like one)... we should have cheap diesel.
  13. Hmmm you would worry if there is a speed camera on top of the hill. It does in Victoria
  14. would be very interested in this hehe...ever tried using torrents before? I rather give you the disc and you torrent it for me. Liberty plan from Bigpond ain't generous

    New Kluger

I guess someone already have swapped their wheel for some 22" chromes http://cgi.ebay.com.au/TOYOTA-KLUGER-WHEEL...1QQcmdZViewItem Our stock wheel are good for $800. Tempting to buy it if I found out what is good for all terrain tyres. Michelin has said to be good in the US snow conditions, can find them at tireracks.com
  19. Nice ... how much is petrol and diesel in NZ?

    New Kluger

I wish they do. But I made myself two DVD of the scene highlights of the last 2 seasons of Top Gear.
  21. Hmmm.. the factory integration sounds interesting.. hehe.. :P The ability to integrate with rear view camera is very good. .... didn't think abt that b4... Taka, the one the site shown is KlugerI... but I guess the KlugerII kit is available now right? Not sure yet... but I can ask.
  22. It is very hard choice. I am thinking now the offroad drive I would be doing will not need the constant 4WD. But Kluger will tow better than the CX-9, just because they have constant 4WD. In the US the tow pack is only 3500lbs (1600kg)... hmm. Without SatNav, Smartkey, rear DVD and Power tailgate ... the CX-9 will lack appeal but the exterior will compensate. I am doing 14L/100km. Never seen 19L/100km (like CX-9 driver claims) in any driving condition, even the 1st tank in the city with crap fuel. I have been a Mazda-only man for a while. If I had a choice, I may prob buy the CX-9 just because I owned the Kluger before. Yeah I think it is cooler to tow my RX-8 with another Mazda to Winton next Saturday.
  23. I think it is ok if it is a 4wd, more if it is front wheel drive. They are ok for mine, except the door is kind of heavy for a skinny wife, and can swing out and make a dent.....
  24. I have Denso too! Is Fujitsu Ten better? I know we have Fujitsu Ten in the Rear DVD
  25. Also found the Bluetooth mic level screen. What sort of number are you setting?
