Group Drag at Calder?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but asking for forgiveness is easy...

Do you Melbourne guys ever get out to Calder as a group? Our Sportivo has a few hundred km on it now so it's ready for a run.

If there are a few of us I can get the infield so that we don't have to wait in a queue to run - and it usually ends up as a bit of a private party there along with the drag cars.

If there's interest, it should be fun.

Tomorrow is out because it'll probably rain. The other problem is that we'll need a few more vehicles to get the infield (a bunch of Soarer guys have the infield tomorrow).

Heathcote's always good fun but it has been difficult to launch front wheel drive cars there this year.

Anyway, how about we fix on a date and see what the numbers are like. 1st Friday night in December (3rd)?

You pay your money, go through scrutineering and then drive it to the infield.

In any case, if we don't get the numbers for the infield, then I'm sure we can gather and park somewhere near scrutineering.

sorry to jump onto your topic but i thought it would be good to let you guys know that exclusive is having drags at heathcote next week. so if you are keen for drags soon you should check this event out.

it was so much fun and there were some interesting cars to drag against.

How did the drags go? I have seen EK Civic VtiRs running low 14s 1/4mile passes. They were heavily modded though with Mugen, Spoon parts. Any Stivos in the 14sec range yet with bolt-on mods?
