Interest in BIG Sydney Cruise

Hey all...

We haven't had a cruise/meet in a while and with the immanent reinstatement of my driving privileges, I am proposing that we have a nice long day cruise down the south coast around mid March (so plenty of time to prepare). This will be the cruise I was hoping to arrange before Christmas was at a loss due to time constraints... But now time seems to be much better, so I'm looking to see how many peeps will be interested in some great mountain passes with spectacular scenery.

Preferred dates are 12, 13, 19 or 20 March (the following weekend [25-28] is Easter) this will be a day cruise most likely to start earlyish at 9:30-10 and will last for most of the day, hence the long advance warning...

So lets get organised...

BUMP...

Sunday the 13th March seems to be as good a day as any but we need more people... come on, where's your team spirit.

Later this week I'll have a detailed route determined that will take in most of what the Southern Illawarra and Upper Shoalhaven have to offer... There will be some great views, beautiful beaches, coastal points with 360 degree uninterreupted spendor, rain forest mountain passes and of course some great roads to drive on in good company... If this is not delivered I offer a money back guarrentee :P

This will not be a high speed cruise but more of a touring cruise, but some fun can definitely still be had on the roads planned (plenty of great hairpin bends :D). So bring family, friends, anyone you can think of because this is sure to be one to plan upon in the future to try and get some more regular activities.

Update.....

When: Sunday 13 March meet at 9:30 for a 10 am start (sharp!!!)

Where: Homebush Carpark (Same one as last time, see map)

To Go: South... Heading to Wollongong, Robertson, Kiama, Geringong, Shoalhaven, Kangaroo Valley, Berry, Shellharbour and back to Wollongong and Home (may put on a BBQ at my place in Wollongong to finish but will keep you posted... need to find said BBQ)

CB's would be handy for those who have 'em

Yeah, I knew about the other cruise last week but since we are off at 10 and they are meeting at 10:30 I can't see it being a major problem, acording the Hot 4's forum the TGS folk will be going on that one so I doubt we will see xTiGeRx and Influx out for this again. But there is the carpark on the other side of the road next to the bus and train station that we could use instead. I think stay at Homebush because everyone knows it and it's the most central...

Influx... We can make a trip through the royal nat park on the way down to Wollongong if you like, but will do the rest on the old Princess Highway as Lawrence Hargraves Drive is Closed to build the Coalcliff bridge... Hope you can make it.
