Seat - just a stupid question

After having the car for nearly 2 years, yesterday my wife asked me how to raise her seat (passenger seat) up. I did try few buttons and the seat could not go higher. It looked like the longest button does not do anything. I don't know where is my manual. Is that normal and how to raise the passenger seat higher (electric seat) ?

Thanks,

BH

i think i might have hit the same wall as you on this one.

a few weeks ago i had a played around with the passenger seat on my zr6 and it seems that the long stick does not move up and down like it would on the drivers. only front and back. is this a manufacturer fault or it was designed like that?

when i try and "raise" the seat it just wont budge.

that's because you dont have that feature.

the front passenget seat only has power slide, tilt and lumbar adjustment. not even the presara has the power height adjustment on the passengers side

Some cars have more adjustment on the driver's seat than the passenger's seat (when you think about it, it's more important to have height adjustment for the driver than the passenger). This could be one of those examples.

Gents,

Many thanks - my wife is still not happy about this (coming out from the blue after nearly 2 years) - I will ask the dealer when/at my next car service.

Regards,

BH

Updated 5 mins later: Just checking my nearly 10yrs old Vienta Grande, the passenger's seat can move up and down

I'm pretty sure the ZR6 and Presara don't have adjustable height on the passenger seat. It does make sense though as only the driver is the one who truly needs it. But this was just from my own reading of the specifications on Toyota's site:

Driver's seat - Power operated

- Driver's seat power slide adjustment

- Driver's seat power tilt backrest

- Driver's seat power height adjustment

- Driver's seat power 2 way cushion tilt

- Driver's seat power lumbar adjustment

Front passenger's seat - Power operated

- Front passenger seat power slide adjustment

- Front passenger seat power tilt backrest

- Front passenger seat power lumbar adjustment
