Love how chunky the Z1 is compared to the M3  ....dude this is some serious sh!t you have going on there, hope the car holds.

how are you going to keep these puppies cool? i'm guessing they will be mounted purrty close together.

how many and what size batteries you using?

sorry for all the questions mate but i've followed your audio build/rebuild and now this monsta rebuild and i'm keen to know more, wish i was in W.A

and Shah when it's all done with everything up and running you should weigh the car...extra 150kg-175kg in audio inc batteries,my guess.

Cheers

Cheers mate, I believe your set up, would be somewhere close to mine, since your car has a smaller cabin volume, means high dB shoudnt be a problem, space might be a problem though like me lol... what subs and amps ur using? *Your getting 10,000 watts worth of power, your considered as crazy as me dude*

Trust me, they are very chunky and its bloody heavy compared to the M3... I wont be putting these monsters in till I paint my car and spot weld to it which is my next move pretty much...

These puppies will be cooled down using 4 T3 turbo that I will get from a half cut car, they will be mounted a bit of distance so that the turbo pipe could reach the bottom bit of the amp, ill cut a hole in the amp for the air flow...

Iam trying to proove people that I could get a high dB without using over-priced dri cell batteries... Instead, Ill use a standard car Liquid acid battery that you get from Repco and Super Cheap and wire them all together, total of 15 and they measured to fit in nicely in the AE86 when I redesign the box to be bigger and better port displacement size (battery would be BOSCH 120amp)...

Its cool, i dont mind sharing my project with others, maybe sum1 could give me some tips if they have any...

Iam thinking mostly likely, ill add around 300-500 kilos more, as Ill be doing my best sound proofing the car, and 15 batteries is alot in weight, same goes for the wood material used lol

Cheers

Holy sh!t 15 batteries  and i forgot about the sound deadning, yeah 300+kg's is more like it.

around $1700-$2000 in batteries, now thats mental and kinda cool at the same time and the salesman/boy at Supercheap will also love you long time.

or you could just strap a Prius to the roof for the battery power needed :P

Yea, but now this build will he hold on a pause... As I will be planning for a new car that 'actually' is a daily driver lol...

I think if I buy the batteris from Supercheap, they will roll me a red carpet next time I come there again lol...

Actually, that is a good idea, I wonder if its possible to do that, A prius engine might fit if custom made the rears, might be impossible, but I will do some research on that... Thanx for the idea mate!!!!

hey mate i plan on using 2 soundstream xxx 15s and power them with a kicker warehouse amp

Good choice on the subs, they pump really hard too.. With your kicker amp, just dont go under 1-ohm, ive heard stories from different forums that they clip on 0.5 ohm... but they perform really good at 1-ohm...
