yes thats right people this is Mish and Marks old car (M_M)

I have been on this site for quite a while, even before i bought the car, but never posted it up.

ran a 15.3 @ 147kph @ wsid

and has 115.9fwkw

I used to have a ae92 csi then got a ae93 sx with a 20v blacktop, both red so i thought i would continue the tradition of having red corolla's.

chucked in some HID's. i got them for $165 and after a bit of ****ing around finally got them fitted. need to change the foggies to be bluish aswell. also the parkers can be changed when i have the time.

i painted the back brake calipers red. the front ones were already red but the backs wern't :s. i didn't take them off though because i didn't see the need to. even up close they look pretty good.

second job was meshing up the front bar. YES i used cable ties but from normal height you can't see them. its only when you get down low that you can notice them.

Looking good there. Those HID's seem pretty bright eh.

yeah they are. i have had them in for about 4 months or so and not had a problem. Even sitting behind a cop last night who ended up pulling me over, but said nothing about them, just RBT'd me.

i adjusted them tonight so they face the ground more.

yeah,

i wondered what had happened to this car, well done in keeping it flawless :D

Thanks, i am also going to respray the bonnet and side skirts soon. The bonnet has paint chips and i had a little blackout the other day and cut a corner too sharp and took paint of the sideskirt :(

haha would of seen it a while ago.

I used to live in Enmore/Marrickville (about 6 months ago)

Now you would see it around epping/Ryde/Hornsby.

x2 on addison rd at around 7.30ish in the morning.

yeah we drove for about 2k's @ about 40 k's an hour.

That was until the flag decided to come out and stick all over the windscreen.

so what we did was slam it in the front doors and the boot and had 2 flags running down the side of the car.

Got plenty of stange looks lol.

And atsvek, i used to live up near the end of addison rd so yeah you would of seen me plenty of times near there.

I love it how when you put up a topic heaps of people end up seeing the car.

I have always found it very strange how people can notice cars on the net then remember them in normal everyday life., then come back to the net and post. Its awsome

      Boot Dimensions?

      Hi All, Greetings from the UK. I wondered if any kind folk could help me out. I am trying to get hold of some measurements for the boot/trunk of later model Fortuners. Does any know the height, min width (between the stowed 3rd seats) and the min depth from the 2nd row seat backs to the tailgate? Trying to work out if I can get all my luggage on board before I travel. Hope someone can help. Cheers KP

      2007 - floor mats

      Hi. I am just reposting this here from the Camry section just in case the broader community might be able to help. I have a 2007 Grande which is still in good nick, except for the drivers floor mat. Normally it wouldn't be a problem to replace the floor mat but because it has the word CAMRY embroidered into the floor mat, I would like to replace it with the same again. I'm feeling reasonably confident that a Toyota dealership would just laugh at a request for another factory one so my question is, is it even still possible to locate an embroidered floor mat for my 17 year old car? If so, where? Or is there a business that will replicate the original?

      Front parking sensors

      We have a 2021 VX Prado with Toyota bullbar that is the doing same thing, the dealer did a patch under warranty which made no difference. The dealer now says they fixed it under warranty (by doing the patch) and there is nothing else they can do so if we want them to keep looking at it we will be paying for it. That is not our understanding of how warranty works and will be taking this matter further.

      Cruise Control Not Engaging

      Hi. My 2008 Rav 4 cruise control has not worked since I’ve owned it. When the on button on the stalk is pressed nothing happens, not green cruise dash light or anything. Previously, I’ve had a problem when the ABS, VSC and parking brake light all turned on but that was fixed by a brake light switch replacement. But the cruise still does not work. I’ve checked all the fuses and all are good. Is this a common issue and does anyone know why it’s happening. thanks

      Head Unit with Apple CarPlay

      Hello everyone, I'm sure there would have to be someone with the same topic but I'm looking for a good head unit for my wife's 2014 RAV4 with Apple CarPlay that wirelessly connects to the phone and has set up so she can connect steering wheel controls and still use her reverse camera, any suggestions please?
