Apart from stating the obvious.. Yes, If u'r comparing the TRD Aurion with the Facelift sportivo. There's quite a lot since they've added new features such as heated side mirrors, rain-sensor for the wiper, and few others I forgot what they are. You can find the complete Info on Toyota website..

I wonder how different the engine internals are.

Another thing the TRD has that a non-TRD Aurion has is a transmission cooler.

Also, as SupaTouring has stated, the SL version of the TRD has a slight difference:

The 3500S has a standard steel rear bumper support, the 3500SL gets an alloy extruded rear bumper support that is supposed to help with torsional stiffness.

TRDs have a build plate in the engine bay area with the build number.

Also located inside underneath the A/C controls.

Isn't there also extra chasis bracing in the rear end?

Wonder the same... as we know Toyota overspec their engines like the Supra

Toyota overspec their engines like the Supra

Meaning ?

Meaning Supra engines are build with better internals than necessary. Hence you can boost the sh!t out of them without them going bang.

Well I wouldn't say that's always true. Such statement is true for the Supra with the 2JZ mainly due to the fact that the blocks are cast iron which can take quite a bit more than an alloy type block.
