hey guys, just bought a 2003 Sportivo and was wondering whats the best fuel for it?

thanks heaps.

Everones opinions will differ ..

I fill up at Caltex Woolworths and since i work for WW i get the 4 cents off so the Vortex 98 does me fine..

I have filled up shell Optimax or V power they call it and wasnt too impressed .. Its supposed to be better but i lost some ks.

Stick to PULP and drive with sense (most of the time) and the car will get 650 -700 KMs , well thats what i get on regular basis ..

I've been using shell v-power ever since i got my car and i'm getting about 650 - 700 ks a tank. But pretty much stick with any premium unleaded and you can go wrong

How's BP Ultimate in the Sportivo? I haven't tried it myself, but my friend swears by it. I guess I should try it sometime soon.

I only use BP ultimate. I tried Vortex 98 and I get much less ks compared to BP ultimate. Also in Perth I think BP ultimate is the only fuel to come out of a different refinery.

98 premium

if you switch between fuels you'll prob find that u probably lose kays. Just stuck to one brand.

I find v power makes the exhaust black and dirty. And the car starves for it. Don't think it's great because had a mate get very high knock from vpower and within the swich to bp ultimate it dropped immediately.

Find bp very good but u gotta give it a few tanks

use 98 vortex myself because of the 4 cents savin

I have used Shell V-Power then i switched to BP as i was told it was the best

i found that it really is good, much better than the Woolies stuff (lol to Rolla & Sao Boy)

my best advice is to use one type like other people have been saying and if your not satisfied switch

Remember the sportivo can run 95 but best to run 98 if you enjoy "performance" driving

I struggle to pay more than $1.35/litre for PULP.. One of the reasons i keep away from BP and Mobil ..

Recently my fill ups have been costing me just under $70 .. and every week that amount on fuel is a ball buster , then the toll on M7 adds to the cost ..

When are they going to make it cash back ... mad.gif

I only use about 1/2 tank a week before I fill up again, running 98 from Caltex Woolies and get between 380 and 450kms to half a tank everytime...
