Aurio Sportivo SX6 Tail light

subi

Recommended Posts

This is my first post. Recently I bought an Aurion Sportivo SX6 2008 model. The car had a cracked left tail light (Corner one). I am interested to purchase a 2nd hand genuine / after market tail light. Does anyone have a spare tail light wants to sail suitable for Sportivo sx6? If not, Can anyone direct me in the right direction please?

Make sure the one you get is from a Sportivo as they are tinted and the standard ones are not, making it look odd.

I'm confused.. I thought that only S1 aurions all have the same tail lights?

For S2 aurion, sportivo models have clear tail lights. Non-sportivos have tinted tail lights.

Busted Taillight!

here you go mate,

this should do the trick

http://shop.ebay.com.au/?_from=R40&_tr...rion+tail+light

Probably helps to re-read the first post and then mine:

... I found some on E-Bay, but they only suit ATX rears.
... There is that one on eBay, but as you already noticed, it's for a non-Sportivo due to it's lighter shade of red.

If you get an opportunity, have a look at the tail lights on an AT-X/Presara, then look at the ones on a Sportivo. The Sportivo ones are a slightly darker shade of red. The headlights are also different in that the AT-X/Presara is a brighter shade of chrome.

Looking for the cheapest way to fix it

Why does it say will not suit sportivo / TRD? Aren't they the same thing? :s

Sx6 has same headlight as a atx/prodigy

Not exactly. The Sportivo and TRD have a darker shade of red (which I suspect is inside tiniting of the chrome... thanks Steven) for the tailights and the headlights have a tinted chrome internal. This makes them both appear darker. So you will in fact have mismatched lights if you don't change all of them if going between grades.

In terms of the OP's question, the physical size and dimensions are the same though.

Edit: I happen to have a left side tail light for a pre-facelift Sportivo BTW. It means a bit to me however, but I guess I may be able to part with it.

06-Early 09 are the first series and the Sportivo and TRD tails are the same, but the ATX, Prodigy etc aren't.

Is the new type of tail lightS (LED) going to fit sprotive sx6 08 model?

Yep, DJKOR had some Thai Camry Hybrid (Aurion shape) tail lights on his old SX6.

In the topic of tail lights,

Can some1 shed a light on how many different kinds of tail lights are there for the facelift versions.

As far as I know, I only knew 2 of them. The clear tail lights for the sportivos and the non tivo ones.

I just realized there's another one like this?

because obviously, it's different to this one.

Was driving behind an Aurion S2 and an Audi A6 yesterday. Anyone noticed how similar their tail lights are?
