Thanks for the support guys! Was sceptical on the light blue/black scheme but went for it and it looks really good! Once I get new rims within the next few months it'll definitely look the part! :D Recently installed rear spoiler with tinted LED/black chrome brake light, White LED number plate lamps and Modellista front lip. Pics will be up soon. :)

Hey Shehan!

Hmm, well I'm out of money atm, being a uni student and all! :P

But I plan on getting 17" rims + tyres, fitting up my foglights (once I figure out how to fit the left foggie and the injen CAI in the same area!) and that's about it!

Might add a TRD rear spoiler and swap to a modellista rear skirt if possible, but after that I'm pretty much done! :)

Cheers,

Nick

BROOOOOOOOOOO looooking mint ahhaha i do much rather this lip over the pervious trd lip :P hahaha needs moar low but :D ahahah still getting enkei?? cant wait to see it with wheels ;)

Hey Ayrton,

Thanks man! And yeah, planning on getting Enkei RPF1 over the next couple of months! :)

Also possibly considering getting a Unichip piggyback tuned by Autotech Engineering (am considering looking at Jesse's old one and seeing if it works on my rolla, and whether or not it can be retuned specifically for my car).

Also will be acquiring Charlie's Modellista rear skirt next month, so that will complete the JDM bodykit! :P Just gotta get the wheels in and then all my exterior is pretty much done! :D

Cheers!

Cheers man! :) Hey yeah I asked Charlie a few months back but he wasn't interested in parting out, so he said he'd let me know if he decided to change his mind, but yeah will be picking up the part from him next month! :D

I currently have a TTE rear skirt which I will be parting out to nix19 once I swap the skirts over :)

Cool, yeah for some reason I thought you scored one from another member :)

Hey guys,

I'm going to upgrade my rims to 17x8 + 35 enkei rpf1's, however I'm having trouble between deciding whether I should go for black or silver (notmaybe the SBC??), I was wondering what you guys all thought on how black/silver would fit in with my colour scheme?

I was thinking that silver would offer a lighter balance with the light bluish colour.. however the black wheels would look much more distinct and match up with the black tailights/black rear skirt etc.

What do guys reckon?

Cheers!

Hey Steve,

I got my white LED lights from JZS International, you'd have to ask him (think his name is Taba) for a special request if the product is not on the website, but he can definitely source one for you and order it across :) Great quality products, fast shipping from Japan, excellent communication and service :)

Cheers,

Hey all,

Been a long time since I've posted here!

Since my last mods, I've gotten a modellista rear skirt fitted up and a brand new set of wheels! - XXR527s in gunmetal, wrapped in 225/45/17 Bridgestone Potenza RE002s!

Here are some pics I snapped up briefly :) It's not too out there, but I think I have achieved the look I want, and I'm really very happy! :)

Only thing is, wondering if I should get superlows for the rears? Although my exhaust pipe scrapes on superlows :S

U can lower it more, but the higher speed hump is killing the exhaust

Posted

You gotta lower that rear! Buy coilovers :P I think Dutchie was still trying to sell his pedders for $700? Might be wirth the investment?

Posted

Haha cheers for the comments guys:

Shehan, I was thinking of getting coilovers but atm I'm quite happy with the springs + I have a pair of superlows for the rear in my garage atm, so it's just tossing up whether and when they go on :P

Good point Charlie, I've been meaning to get it centred, just haven't had the time yet haha! :(

And Ben, if I got it lowered, what alternative exhaust muffler could I use that would be thinner/flatter as to give better speedhump clearance - yet still sound nice but not too loud? (Also because it's an auto, the drone gets VERY annoying if it's constantly audible at low rpm :S )

Oh also, to everyone - if I put superlows on, will I need to get new stock shocks? :o

Cheers guys!
