Yes, Buddha's Dream Car is closer than ever ... less than Brisbane to Melbourne in fact ... I can almost taste it ...

That's right, a Corolla Fielder Z Aero wagon, VVTL-i for Buddha, auto for Mrs Buddha.

If you go to www.toyota.co.nz and do a search in their used car section, there are heaps of other stuff that never reaches Australia, including manual versions of the Fielder Z Aero.

Mrs Buddha has often said she'd like to holiday to NZ ... hmmm :D

Yeah, personally, I'd prefer a manual (and there's plenty of those in NZ, too) ... I just picked the auto because Mrs Buddha needs to use it too.

Its the same auto as the Celica, but as far as I can gather it doesn't get the shift buttons on the steering wheel.

They want just under NZ$20g, its a 2000 model but only has something like 30000km on the clock.

What you need to do then is become a 2 car family....

In our house, we have my Sportivo, for me, and Kate has her ute for work. While she prefers the auto she also knows that if she wants to use MY car and not hers for anything, then she needs to remember how to use the clutch....

I'd love to become a two-car family when the $$$ allow ... I'm thinking an early MR2 might be a fun 2nd car :D
