ill be quite interested to see what you think of the product overall. the welds and the brackets coming off them don't look the best. I've heard mixed reviews about the slide stuff - but I have spoken with Ryan a few times and he's a straight up guy, so its good to see the support out there. I'm sure their stuff will get better and better!

Let me know your thoughts on them before, during and after install.

Like I said above that this is their first pair for the aurion. Bad welds?

Weel I tell you my friend if you can tell that the welds are no good and the penetration is crap by a photo?!

Your in the wrong job mate.

Be interesting where you found these reviews from as I was researching and talking to ryan for the good part of this year. The only review on coils they have is a couple of kids deciding to put these of BCs on there skyline.

Calm your sh!t. No need to take it personally... Good luck with your install. Hope it goes well. Like I said, ive spoken with ryan many times at the drifting events he has been at. And like I said, its good to see the support for the local guys.

Calm? There was no loudness to what I said, I just don't like people saying things like what you did about the welds.

If you re-read my post, youll see that I said 'ill be interested to see what you think of the product overall'.

'the welds don't look the best' - ofcourse im going off a photo. Your the man with the goods! Im asking you to tell me what you think of it overall since its showed up.

Rather than focus on the negative side of the post, hopefully you can see It was more of an inquisitive post than anything else.

So new slide industries coils are in

Spring rates of 10kg front 7kg rears. These are the first to be made for the aurion. As you guys may or may not know this is my third set of coils.

I had BCs to start with, then moved to DGR racing coils. There was nothing wrong with my existing setup but I do want want more low with a stiffer ride, so instead of ordering stiffer spring I came across these.

PROS

2 year full replacement warranty

Fully rebuildable with all part been available within australia

Your choice of spring rate

Choice of damper oil (I went with a thicker compound than the DGRs)

35 setting on dampners

Free full dust boots

Free rear pillowball mounts.

Fronts come with adjustable camber plates.

CONS

None that I know of.

That's right :)

Installation was a breeze took me about 3 hours and to be honest I'm not the best when it comes to this sort of stuff

Camber kit a must

The ride

Being the prototype aurion set I was a bit worried what I got myself into but they are fantastic. Better then both other set I have had. Still with a degree of stiffness but seem to be more comfortable, I cannot recommend these coils enough

Very happy drewballs
