Changes in the ZR6 2006-2009

Hey guys!

I'm looking to buy a Zr6 soon and the ones available in my price range seem to be made between 2006-2009. I haven't noticed much of a difference between these models and was wondering if there are any?

The Aurion didn't see any changes until Sept' 2009 when the range was rejuvenated with the facelift. Given your choice lies within the period from 2006 to 2009, you may be able to see a few that were produced after Sept' 2009 which will be part of the facelifted range.

The facelifted Sportivo zr6 saw the change in the rear tail lights to the clear version, changes to the front bumper bar, revised head unit, behind seat map pockets were changed from a fish-net design to a hard plastic cover and alloy wheel design. They are the changes that I remember when I was looking to buy my car during late 2009.

If anyone have anything to add to that, it would be much appreciated.

Passenger not wearing seatbelt warning came in, not too exciting but it improved the ANCAP safety rating. New headunit comes with AUX in which may sway your choice.

I thought the rear window blind was an option on both models?

I don't think it came out 2006,

Aurion started production 2007 and was the first change to the 200kw motor.

Before that it was all Camry range which wrre 4cyl & 6 cyl- - - 》》 the 6 was 141kw

So ye it was 2007 production in which AURIO MEANS TOMORROW IN GREEK, Also one of the designers was a Greek from Melbourne.

Careful buying early models because of the faulty/low quality oil hoses. (2006 and 2007 specically)

There was a dealer recall/modification done on vehicles with the suspect hoses. In most cases it was completed.
