Yeah it's Monday night and I got a bit bored and decided to do a few mock ups in a photo editor. The main aim is to make the newer sat nav unit fit in a bit better with the rest. Anyone have thoughts on the mock up and/or any suggested paints to do so?

Does your left knee hurts given that big bulking unit sits under the steering column?

Why not vinyl wrap it?

That's an option but I don't think it'll cling to the corrugated surface of the air con controller underneath the clear plastic front. If it can be done then I'd be happy to give it a go.

Nah I've got the seat far enough back and I'm not particularly tall anyway. There's about a 1-2 cm gap between my knee and the radio remote unit typically.

Perhaps suede?

I've got it on my door cards and am really happy with it.

Won't work for th ac controls though

I did see your post here about suede on the doors and thought it could work rather well in the parts of the door that on the ATX and Touring models are fabric and are leather on the Prodigy and Presara models. Would be a decent improvement on my Touring model doors.
