The clean up on this Sportivo engine bay has come out immaculate!

Any ideas on how this was cleaned and what products were used?

Not really cleaned, looks like it was just sprayed with alot of Armor-All or Yuk-Off or similar products. Looks good when you do it, but then the product will actually trap dirt/dust and make it look crap later.

fairly simple i guess..just use a damp cloth and go thru ur engine bay after washing ur car..then use another cloth to wipe Amour-all over the plastic bits..and u've got a clean engine like his..:)

i clean my engine bay with a soapy towel about once a year. sometimes after wiping it down i apply vinyl/rubber shine. i may use autoglym or meguiars or any household products that cleans things.

That looks awesome kcorro....what kind of Meguiars products do u use?

cannot remember the name of the meguiars product but it comes in a transparent red spray bottle and is for interior/exterior. if you want a high shine try armourall but for interior i never use armourall because it is too shiny. mix products and experiment with household cleaners.

here is that meguiars product. i also use autoglym when i have it around which works very well such as bumpercare, vinyl&rubbercare

Products you use will make a difference but also how often you give your engine bay a clean will also help with it's appearance. I usually give my engine bay a wash once a month with a high pressure rinse and then chamois off. Dressing all the plastics and hoses etc I do prolly 4 times a year and it keeps everything looking new. The only other thing I do is polish the strut brace and cooling panel prolly 3 times a year mainly to remove water marks and for a show.

But yeah Meguiars FTW in my books and I've had a few :toast:
