Hey guys, i was thinking about organising a cruise.

if ppl are interested in going for one please let me know.

OCT 13th????? its a saturday.

meet at murdoch uni carpark and cruise through fremantle and then along the coast

if you are keen please pm me.

I know i am a newbie but i wanna get out there and make my presence felt.

(anyone is welcome to come, stock or non stock)

Never again will I set foot, hand or other parts of my anatomy onto Murdoch University soil.

Otherwise date sound okies for now, but I think I will have to meet you at some stage along the way.

Hey guys, i have thought about a time. i think that we will make it 11am on the 13th of oct. at the murdoch uni carpark. in from of the servo. (so if anyone needs fuel before we leave they can grab some)

and then we will be cruising down south st to fremantle where we will go through fremantle and maybe if we are all keen on it do a few bog laps (yeeehaaa) then head towards the beach and then grab a beer from the cott or OBH.

this should be a great outing so everyone get down and let the toyota's do the talking.

Alright guys, here is some exciting news! Dannyboy organised a long due cruise for us :) I guess I am the one that have to get the message out there.

Details ::

Date: 13 Oct 2007

Time: Meet around 10am (+/- 15 mins)

Venue: Murdoch University Car Park 1 (Infront of Murdoch College)

- PM me if you need help locating it

No one really care if your car is fully pimped up or your car looks like a “No Bird” rental car. (You can rent one and come to the cruise too :).. Im serious..) As long as your car has TOYOTA on it, you are part of the group! So dont bail out because your car looks dead stock! I personally went to a meet when my car was just plain jane! Still is but heck! It was fun!

Location wise, We've always had it down @ south perth foreshore but since dannyboy suggested murdoch car park, we could give this a go but if anyone here would prefer the usual spot let me know. We'll work something out.

Ah, before I forget.. This WILL be a cruise, not just a meet. At this stage, dannyboy decided to cruise from Murdoch to Fremantle then down Cottesloe. Detail map will be provided on the day (hopefully)

PLEASE RSVP ASAP so I have a rough idea on how many cars would turn out :)

Hey guys, I bumped into the national rep for a car cleaning product, Autoglym (amongst other products that he supplies). If I recall correctly, it is an imported British product that is comparable to Meguiars. His knowledge regarding the science behind keeping a dark metallic painted car clean and streak/scratch free was very impressive (cos we were talking about my car).

He would be very interested in attending the meet to show us his stuff. Nothing was mentioned about group discounts - I guess that would be dependent on numbers and orders.

If you're happy for him to attend, please give me a yea or nay, and I will contact him accordingly.

damn guys..if u wanna clean and protect ur paint..just gimme a shout..my boss gives very good prices on most products(mainly meguiars and autoglym as well as the rare and very expensive Swissol)..good prices and free advice.. :spiteful:

Also..count me in for the meetup/cruise...i'll put a word out on the MR2 forum and get some of the guys out as well..

Given that we have a member who can provide the same products (ie autoglym) for us, would you still like the stocker to attend?

nah..it would be good for him to demonstrate his (Autoglym) products to u guys..so u can compare it with the other good products out there..like Meguairs which we use at work and whats gonna be on my car when u see it :spiteful:

what if your paint isnt metalic :P 2 pak base and clear :D

ps. will also be attending and will be my first TOCAU cruise and my ae92 is also loud :P

      2011 Land Cruiser 1VD-FTV Engine Won't Start After Overhaul

      Hi everyone, I have a 2011 Land Cruiser VDJ200 with a 1VD-FTV engine. I recently had the engine fully overhauled due to a blown head gasket. However, after the overhaul, the engine is not starting. It only cranks but doesn't fire. I've checked the following DTC codes: Internal memory EEPROM error Low rail pressure The actual rail pressure data shows: 240 bar during cranking 61 bar when ignition is off Based on these findings, I suspect the following potential causes: =Defective Diesel High-Pressure Pump =Leaking Piezoelectric Injectors =Diesel Fuel Bypassing to the DPF Circuit =Faulty Injector Drivers I'm hoping for some expert advice to help diagnose and resolve this problem I'm seeking expert advice on how to troubleshoot and resolve this issue. Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

      Hey guys, I’m wanting to disconnect my current winch, lightbar and UHF as I have new plans. I’ve installed a winch previously on another car so I get it’s a case of following the cables and disconnecting from the battery, etc but but safety wise, should I start by disconnecting the battery so the cables aren’t live orrrr? And if so how do it go this haha?

      Snapping wheel and axle studs

      Put a set of standard wheels on it and your problem will disappear. It is critical that the hole in the wheel centre is a snug fit on the axle boss (without wheel nuts fitted). If your wheels are sloppy on the axle boss this allows excess force on your wheel studs and they will break, as yours are doing. If you are unsure of what to do, go to a reputable tyre shop and get assistance.

      2zz idle / roughness when accelerating past 3k

      Hey everyone was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction with this issue I've been facing for a while now. My Celica's idle will drop down to almost 200rpm when stationery after hitting operating temperature. Pretty much feels like it's about to stall out but never actually does. When taking off from a set of lights it almost feels like it hesitates or is down on power and then all of a sudden it lurches forward and gets a boost in power again. Then again around 1,500-3,000rpm it feels down on power and in what I can only describe in the engine feeling scratchy. Past 3,000 rpm it gets a little boost in power again but still definitely feels down on power compared to what it used to be and still has that roughness. Note lift is also not working at the moment but I have changed the lift bolts, planning on cleaning the VVT and VVTL-i OCV's New engine mounts have been installed I changed the MAF sensor about 4 years ago albeit not OEM. After doing some research my main ideas now would be a New MAF this time OEM, TPS, IACV or Coil Packs (Changed plugs 50,000km ago) Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! :)
