  1. you dont put the headlight in WITH THE OVEN running!! next time, reheat the oven for 15minutes, switch it off, then put the headlight in for 8 minutes. NO MORE THAN 15mins!
  2. you can. I did it on my Echo. bought a cylinder sub and spliced the rear speaker wire, and duuff duuff! :D the best $40 I've spent this year.

    more power

Do that ... 1MZ-FE engine is light, economical and makes plenty of power. TRD supercharger takes around 4 hours to fit when doing it by yourself. Alex finding one would be HARD, Tony is the only guy here with the S/C!

    scooter

Hi guys, im thinking of getting one of this electric/battery powered scooter. now my question is. on the RTA website it says: taken from http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/oth...kes.html?rlid=6 **confused** now...where the hell can i drive them!!? I want one so i can go to and from work B) has anyone from here purchased one of this before?? if so hows it?
  5. try putting them in a crash test and they all probably crumbled into 1 big brick :)
  6. ^right, but its the other way around. hold the "4" key then Seek/track up. :)
  7. the only reason syd water is doing this because they've raised the cost of water.

    Hi All..

Nice rims!! This is my CAI :D and sounds much better than a short ram intake.
  9. the 6" sub i have has built in amp (tuck inside the cylinder). so pretty much 12V cable thru the engine and connect the RCA or splice the left or right speaker cable.
  10. 6" or 8" sub would do it (get cylinder not a box). small and practical for the boot. I have 6" cylinder sub and its small yet deliver a good bass (not as good as the 12" or bigger subs, but if you're going to use it for normal listening then its more than enough). Im using the stock Toyota 6stacker in-dash cd/mp3 system with the sub sounds awesome!
  11. there was a guy on CNN.com showing CNN about hypermiling (video still up on the website, so check it out) and he drives the honda accord 2006 i think... he basically start up the engine then CHUCK it into D straight away (ouch! i say!)...switch the engine off then on again,etc... but really the simple answer is just to catch the public transport? switching the engine on and off n chucking it straight to D would give more damaged to the car....
  12. Toyota echo or yaris or prius.... I'll be reaching the 700km mark (from a full tank, 45L) very shortly... just done about 420ish now. still 300km to empty..... :) (I do on average 6-6.8L/100km, city drive)
  13. I searched for some time and sadly to say, you pretty much useless buying those "SO CALLED" performance chips. The best buck for your wallet is to get a turbo or supercharger. Chipping the 1.5L or 1.3L engine wont do you much, most you'll get is 2-5kw if you're lucky. Toyota put that engine on the Yaris for a reason, and that was fuel efficiency not powwwaaa. one thing you might consider before putting a turbo or s/c, try finding out on the cost of doing an engine transplant with the 2ZZ-GE (1.8L VVTL-i) I know that in Europe they do use this engine for the T-sport Yaris. anyway keep your $$$ in your wallet for the chips....
  14. I didn't have time, as this afternoon was my only free time for this week. I was planning to go there, but traffic was horrible. I was thinking of doing it myself, but our driveway still wet from the rain and its as steep as mt everest. Plus im jst too weak n lazy... and yeah they did wheel alignments to the two cars.... <_< suss....
  15. Hey all, Just wanna let u all know (especially the people in Sydney) DO NOT Go to JAX TYRES at Thornleigh. The MANAGERs SUX! just today, had to swap my alloys with steels (nuts were provided by me), at first they were going to charged me $30 , negotiated with him and he said "ill see how long it will take" long story short, at the end I paid $20 for a 4minutes job. When my brother took his Supra there for a new set of tyres, they took it a test drive after, BUT when he took his OLD BOMB Civic for a new set of tyres they DIDN'T take it for a test drive and gave the keys to him. <_< Aren't they supposed to take it for a spin, check the tyres are properly fitted and balanced? (oh man, these guys reminds me of K-Mart Auto at Castle Hill, they too are CRAP! took my car for a 15mins drive, with AIR COND ON) months before this, I asked Bridgestone Waitara to swap my steels with the alloys and they did it for FREE (They even told me that i'm missing a ring for one of the alloys). I'm so NEVER going back to that shop AGAIN! I gave me one more chance today thought they've changed but I was wrong.....
  16. hahaha.......as soon as every start buying hybrid, they'll have problem disposing the battery pack (unless they're recyclable or eco-friendly) . plus if you run the Factory Stock Hybrid cars on EV MODE, you won't go for more than 50km (I think, if im not mistaken, currently you only can do 20km on EV MODE, depends on the road, driving style, etc..) till you have a flat battery. Hybrid is a good start, but they still have a lot of work. well time to buy a GOLF buggy!
  17. about time.... I hope Toyota fixed the "over charging/ over working" issues with the battery. Besides that would love to get one...
  18. gosh nice one! if only you posted this 4yrs ago! i would''ve done it myself!
  19. Rule #1 about tyre, NEVER DEFLATE HOT TYRES!
  20. noiceee!! the TRD aurion should be making 180ish kw@FW (normal aurion is 145ish kw@FW).
  21. what Colour temp HID do you have??? there's only 1 way to fix this problem. do a retrofit, take a break from smoking for several months so you can commence this project :P also did you get the HALO angel eyes from AutoJoy? http://autojoy.com.au/080115_angelEyes_detail.html ^isnt that your car?
