  1. Good buy mate! You won't be disappointed. Once you go 4x4, you won't go back! :D Personally, I believe they are much better than the D40's as a package (wider but so many problems) and slightly better than BT50's, and it's a Toyota; bullet proof! :)
  2. Where are you going with that :P I'm not sure Pete, not sure! Who does that? :P Gordon Ramsay (lol), next time mate. Maybe in SA?
  3. Was strolling through and found this thread! Awesome work mate! Keep it up and see you at the next official/unofficial meet!!!! :)
  4. Blue whine is awesome! #justsaying Jeff :P I guess you just have to go up to QLD then lol. All the dedicated TOCAU members have done at least 1 interstate travel per year, if not 3 or 4 times. And Mr Gordon Ramsay, see you next time, maybe soon! :D
  5. Yep, without fail. But no, never too old! Well, for the ones that are bossssss!
  6. Hey Sarah, Welcome! :) Try using redbook to compare the difference to the models. Also a good tool to use to check if the person you're buying off is not ripping you off. Someone like SuperDave would know more details on differences between SX and ZR models. Quick comparison using redbook says in the 2000 models, the differences are: SX has 15" alloys, ZR has 16" ZR has ABS SX has single stacker CD, ZR has 6 stacker (believe both have no MP3 compatibility) ZR has foglights ZR has sunroof
  7. just curious mate. No reason is needed. We had a big cruise on Sunday; went for a cruise, 9am to 6pm round trip just to go to a bakery (and though some other towns). :D
  8. Try contacting importers such as RHD Japan, Greenline, via your mate etc. :D Edit: not sure it is available for facelift ZREs yet; will have to double check.
  9. Not sure. Does the actual dial/knob come off? People might be able to help/give you advice when you upload some photos. Haven't heard of this happening in ZREs yet.
  10. Looking bloody great as per usual John! See you soon? :)
  11. I'm not fussed with any week night/weekend day, but I guess you got more chance people attending if it's a Friday night or weekend. Not everyone is a bausss like you. :P
  12. Reece said he's going to suss it out and confirm the date. :)
  13. Damn Chris, I didn't see this last night otherwise I would've gone for a kebabs run! Let's see what date Reece decides for this EoMM. :)
  14. Love that white 3 door Auris (except for the wheels)! @Pete: :(
  15. Nice work so far mate! ZREs represent! Hope you've been looking at the ZRE FAQ.
  16. You should be doing about 450km a tank with an auto ZZE122. Try reset the ECU?
  17. I have driven Vinh's ZRE which are on Dixcel's all round. They sh!t on the stocks! With little/no brake dust.
  18. 1. I found the "range" remaining is only an estimate. The most I have ever filled up is 45L with 670kms. I say do not rely on it too strictly; it's better to judge how much fill you got left by the kms you have driven with that tank and form a habit to fill up at a certain amount of kms (mine was 600km mark). As everyone says, it's not good to drive until it's nearly dry. 2. Probably not. 3. 5W-30, 10W-30, 10W-40 4. Mine is about 5kms out at 100km/hr (using a GPS) but like Duy said above, it's standard practice for car manufacturers. 5. Just live with it. Just be glad you're not driving a Levin ZR, more beeps and noises due to the keyless entry. :)
  19. Such a bargin! I've driven it several times and is perfect for the ZRE, yet still so comfortable. :)
  20. I'll have to pass, can't make it. Also, still finalising but EoMMs for April and May are being planned. And obviously the big meet in June! I recommend all Victorians to try to attend the annual meet, even if it's just one day! :D
