  7. Yeah, I was going to call you and say the same thing. I was following the thread via email and saw that you already cancelled it! :) 2-3 of us means we could go faster.. In summary of Tash's response, we can go anywhere! Keep the suggestions coming! :D
  8. Vinh, are you raising double to see Tom in a batman suit or something else? Damn, that's one way to earn dosh for the next mod Tom.. :P
  9. Add the Modellista front garnish corza and you'll be sweet! And about the seats, interesting but IMO buying a set of Recaro's would be a better option like others have said. :)
  10. Attending List: 1. Tash 2. Dwee 3. Jeffy - i finish at 4pm on that day from work, should be alright :D 4. Tofuboi - OMFG! 5. KRS093 6. This is for the bowling event; if you want to add yourself to the dyno attendance list, post in the dyno thread. :) Also, please put your name down if you're interested and can come! I'm sure there is some quota of people to make a group booking happen!
  11. Hi all, As discussed with Tash, I am proposing to do the next monthly meet at a bowling/laser skirmish centre. Looking at the Classic Package - Option 1, which includes 2 games of either bowling (includes shoe hire) or laser, burger and drink for only $25ea. :) To keep the tradition, it will be the last Sunday of the month, Sunday 28th August early arvo. Location is still to be confirmed, thinking either Highpoint or Watergardens. Meets always don't have to be always about cars & cruises; this one can be a bit different and chilled back. :) If you're interested, copy and add your name to the attending list. I need to know numbers as I believe we'd probably have to book. Peter. Attending List: 1. Tash 2. Dwee
  12. I think I spotted you Tash! About two Saturdays ago in front of this garage restaurant looking place..
  13. Thanks guys, I thought I would post this discussion up because I knew there would have been different opinions on this. I think if I was older, I would get DSG or maybe my views are just too traditional? And no I'm not getting a Golf GTi/R, although it's bloody tempting!
  14. That would have been Tom (shin0bi)! :) Spotted a silver Rukus with a black line decal dumped on 18" Kappas at Safeway Springvale last night at 7pm.
  15. Still thinking about full exhaust. Maybe I have to drive Huey's or Jay's car first; I want it more subtle. Winton was so fun! Shame I only pushed it in the last 3 laps after your instructions Trung! Talking about Winton, interested in the one on Cup day!
  16. Coming along nicely mate! All in due time!
  17. As long as you don't neglect your gf, that's alright lol If you want to get camera gear, have a look at DWI; I bought my lens from here. Looking at prices, I would have saved $500 buying my camera from here rather than in store. Opposed to traditional SLR design, might want to have a look at compact cameras with SLR lenses; such as http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/store/product.asp?idProduct=3004&idImage=1
  18. What are people's views on this? Disregarding all other factors, such as your missus not being able to drive manual for example ; or the amount of time spent driving in peak hour traffic; or DSG being quicker than MT, would you go MT or DSG if these were the options? A Golf GTi/R for example. For some reason, I believe I would go for more traditional MT. I believe I would get bored of driving a DSG.. each to their own?
  19. 3. It's 6" for the fronts and 6" (apparently) for the rears as well. 5. Reset the ECU. :)
  20. GT5 definitely as others have said. GRID is good with you want something in between of simulator (GT5) or arcade (NFS) style of play. :)
  21. This shall be interesting!! Should I even bother? Haha I've only got a CAI, but this dyno would tell me what I've gained (AHAHA) as I got a base to compare with..
