  1. Love them! Can't wait to see it on! Also, is it just TOM's that make them?
  2. Haha love it! I guess your garage is the place to be for ZREs in Syd! Vinh's house for Melb!
  3. Welcome to the club! Looks like you got some photography skills & equipment too!
  4. Yeah, that's where I got mine from; not sure of where else. Call CES up and see what they can do. BG Pete has got a custom made CAI from CES. ZRE hatch & sedan have the same chassis. A member already has a Injen CAI on his sedan. See his thread here. :) Thommo, I believe this is the one John & Charlie were after initially? You should ask them. :P
  5. Not hard at all to find a CAI. Us older (ZRE) owners have done all the hard work and guessing. Have a look at the ZRE FAQ and under 'Air Intake Mods'. Charlie (flipsta) is selling both his Injen CAI and WeaponR intake. If you're interested, PM him. If you want to go for brand new: Injen - get from ebay. Make sure it's for 1.8L 4cylinder. If you're uncertain, post it below and we'll have a look; let you know if it will fit. :) CES Racing - contact BG Pete or CES directly. WeaponR - order through WeaponR dealer/website. DIY - make your own! Where are you buying the 3A pod from? The link I gave above? Taking off the front bumper is not hard. Read this for a bit of info.
  6. Come to one of our Victorian meets then; you'd be gobsmacked! Ha Haaa! Thats Dwees engine bay! I dont think Ive cleaned mine in over a year, it would probably look much worse! Hahahahaha! What can I say, Petes love it dir..? Another shot. :) Injen CAI with 3A Racing Pod with Hydroshield. No Oil.
  7. You have to ask yourself how much lower do you want to go? Also, if comfort is an issue? Generally, the lower and higher spring rates you go, the less comfort. Springs can lower your car by 35-50mm, however, your stock shocks won't last as long. Coilovers drop about the same, if not lower and the benefits are written in the post above. I'm currently using BC Coilovers. Don't forget, adjustable dampeners & camber. :D
  8. Saltyeggs, I think I just spotted down Ashley St, west footscray at 5:25pm! 5mins later down sunshine rd, spotted a dark grey zre ZR with hid 6000k foggies, TRD ganish? And with a netz badge!
  9. Interesting Cuong.. If I had it, it would be on "sports mode" 100% of the time!
  10. Me too mate! By the way, you've disappeared a bit from the forums? :P
  11. Hey Vig, coilovers installation would be just the labour costs, usually roughly $200-$350ish depending where you go. Not sure if you're aware of the difference, did you want to buy coilovers or just buy the springs (teins) and install them? Also, have a look at the ZRE FAQ! :)
  12. Hey Peter sorry didnt get any pics, i know i should have but its was only in for 3 days then i got booked....but man it's loud, real similar mount to the injen. asm for the new car, yes it's turbo and yes it RWD.....not AWD LOL trying to strike up a deal in the next few weeks, just hope it all goes to plan Hahaha talk about bad luck! Three days lol! Turbo, RWD that helps break it down a bit? Hahaha looking forward to what it is!
  13. Here you go for all those interested! http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=31625 Vig, please come to the Victorian meets! We need more ZREs? Maybe? :P We try to have a weekly meeting and there's always a monthly meet each month. Great to meet those on the forum, get to know some familiar faces. PM me your number, and either I or the main/usual organisers will msg you details of meets etc. :)
  14. Yep, get it balanced and aligned to be sure. Tyrepower are not bad in price either! :)
  15. Sorry, I didn't make it clear. When I was referring to using the licence plate light, I meant the opening to put your reverse camera wiring through. So if you look at the picture I attached above, you can run the wire from the licence plate light and along where the existing wires are, all the way to the top of the boot door and through the hole. Once you do that, you can run it down the sides (either side) of the car, where you can connect it to the reversing lights. :)
  16. John: We won't be able to go the Friday night activities, as we won't make it in time due to my graduation. Dw, will see you and the rest of the gang nonetheless! Yep...and two nights sleeping in the car!
  17. Charlie: LOL! at least we know it fits! :P Post up photos, if you have any, and I'll add it to the FAQ for future ZRE owners. :) Turbo? Mitsubishi? That progression seems to be the norm..
  18. Hey mate, Not 100% sure about the facelifts, but look above the licence plate where the plate lights are. You can feed the wire through one of the lights. Depending on the thickness of the wire, you might need to drill a little hole to make a slightly bigger opening for both the camera wire and the existing place light. To do this, you need to remove the plastics on the boot door; it's all clips! :) Peter. P.s. I still haven't installed my reverse camera.. Haha
  19. Congrats again! :P Start to teach the bub how to drive! Gotta teach them young these days; one day he might beat you around Winton.. :toast:
  20. Yeah the slider! I think you posted a while back, no? Looks like hella fun! :D Damn that's a nice lens! No wonder! Haha I'm planning to get Sigma 30mm f1.4! P.s. love the stance!!
  21. No longer twins... more or less! Photoshoot soon? :P
  22. Hmmmm... maybe some one should read the ZRE FAQ page :P Front Camber Kit: 81290 81290 (Pedders) Richard, there are no options for the rear, as I'm aware of.. <_<
