  1. Do you mean the intake or the chick? :P I'm not sure if Charlie has it on his, but it would be similar to the Injen one in the sense it's for the American Corolla. Should fit though, have a look at this pdf. Alternatively, he is selling his Injen CAI (post above). Easy to install. :) If you looked at the ZRE FAQ, I need feedback if any! :)
  2. So guess what? The white ZRE twins will be coming to this! Mods, please add me and Vinh to the attending list from VIC. :) My graduation is on the arvo of Thurs 9th, we're planning to leave here 9-10ish to be there in brissy around 9am Sat! Booking accom tonight. Can't wait, going to be my first annual meet ever! No exams this year! Woo :D
  3. Thumbs up! Saw your page; you got yourself a bike? (or it's the same one as last time?) Hahahaha awesome! What DSLR are you using and what lenses? You take nice shots; I'm still learning!! :D
  4. Pure sex! I'll see you around, on the roads, randomly in your area while driving! Please stop and say hi. Lol :P
  5. Welcome to the club! :) Agree with Vinh. Do suspension first then wheels. If you get wheels first before suspension, the car will look like a 4x4 and stand out like a dog's balls! Also, have a look at the ZRE FAQ! :)
  6. Where I work... :D oh wait, I don't have a s'tivo!
  7. Brilliant work so far Jason!!
  8. Even tho i've got a ZRE152, the CES stuff is great. I would jump on the buy if I need a CAI ;) Hahaha a bit biased Pete? :P Thanks for the reminder, I should add CES CAI info to the ZRE FAQ! Can you kindly PM me the specs? :)
  9. but I think your fuel consumption would still be less than most of ours... :P
  10. Search and you shall find my friend! :) A member is selling CES CAI http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=32439
  11. Same, busy with church & family this week. Next Sunday I can be free (if I'm not hungover ) to check these places out with you. :)
  12. Looking clean! Black eyelids make it stand out more!

    ACA23R Vs ACA33R

To me, they feel underpowered; 2.4L 125kW engine AWD carrying about 1.6t; drinks about 9-14L/100kms. My parents have an auto, probably better in both power delivery and fuel consumption in the manual! :)
  14. Awesome buy! One of these in manual is soo bloody rare!! Good to hear that you sorted out the clutch! :)
  15. Never heard of them before, sorry! Sounds like a good little meet, however, I'm not sure if I'll be able to come that day!! Please take photos. :) Us Victoria members also have a monthly meet and also a weekly meet. We have May's meet (in the making) here! Check the 'Upcoming Club Meets & Events' section regularly! :)
  16. Tash, randomly looking on google maps, what about Lerderderg State Park or Mt Macedon/Macedon Regional Park? Never been to either before, just a random suggestion! If we don't end up using one of these, maybe I'll use it for the next meet I organise! :) Was really looking forward to the Annual as it's the first time I don't have exams, but I found it's the same weekend as my graduation... Not sure what to do! :( Also, congrats to being a mod now! I'll always be here to give you a helping hand! :P
  17. So one of these threads has been asked again. Nothing wrong with it at all before you may ask. It's good to have these discussions but just the usual answers and responses are based on opinions, or on past experiences that have too many variations. It is hard to compare cars with other cars, let alone the same car model with another exact model. There are too many variations, the driver being the biggest! Like a few have said above, in a straight line or on the street mean jack all. Do it on the track then you can brag if you want to; don't risk other people's lives and your own on the streets. My 2 cents. Regarding to the topic, in the perfect world where both drivers are equally the same in skill, I would say dc2r.
  18. Irrelevant to topic, but nice name; welcome!
  19. +1 to that. 18x9.5 +45 would be definitely on the rears. However, not sure about inner clearance? Our rear guards are huge! Pete, with your wheels, do you have that amount of inner clearance on the rears?
  20. Got to agree with that John! But saying that, we all know that you want a BLADE!
  21. 3A is the way to go. It's cheap ($30ish) from memory, washable/reusable and was ranked 1st in flow and 2nd in filration in a test among its competitors. 3A racing is in Nunawading. You can also buy the cleaning kit and oil kit. As for the size, it's all the standard size - 77mm neck. Duy (KenshinX) has a 3A Racing Pod on his TRD CAI. He drives a '03 S'tivo; any questions, you can PM him. :) For any ZRE owners in future that may come across this, 3A pods fits the ZRE Injen CAI perfectly.
  22. You live around there? I got projects in the area and I'm surprised I see a decent amount of s'tivos among the commonwhores up that way! Today's spots: - - Blue Aurion with black wheels/silver lip (Not Dale) on Derrimutt Rd, Werribee at 3:30pm - Silver pre-facelift ZRE conquest sedan with angel eyes, blue LED fogs and TRD muffler on the Westgate fwy inbound 5ish
  23. Very nice choice on colour!! meet up the Qld boys; they'll be more than welcome to give you a hand or advice! :)
