  1. Free postage, and far more complete than t10. They come from thailand too so maybe the same?
  2. haha I was looking for a dedicated LED thread to post these. They've been on the R-Style racing website for awhile but they're notoriously hard to deal with through there.. I've already got 2 pairs on the way, will be interesting to see how they compare to my current T10 Led replacement.
  3. cheers mate, that helps greatly. Does anyone have any experience with projector fog lights? I'm not looking to run HIDs in them nor am I expecting a great deal better output, basically I just don't want to have any significant loss in output or how well built they are etc.
  4. Long story short the glass lenses of the fog lights have seen better days and I'm looking to replace them however aftermarket (ie Ebay) fog lights for my ZR6 are coming up in short supply, most seem to fit the ATX/Prodigy/Presara range. Are the lamp assemblies themselves the same throughout the Aurion range? I have looked at generic aftermarket fog lamps however they're about 1cm smaller in diameter to ours and I want to keep things looking smart. On the same topic I just noticed just projector versions of the Camry/Aurion fog lights - in the same $$$ area that I'm looking to spend and they look much smarter too. Anyone have experiences with these? cheers
  5. Going to sit this out - only night off from work in awhile and the work on the car is falling behind schedule...
  6. They're a direct fit, wiring and all.
  7. Might not have been his first incident and after realizing his job may be on the line has altered the events slightly. This is why if I can't catch the incident on video, I always activate a voice recorder (even if it's just my phones built in one) when talking to the other party. Has helped me many times. I'd also make an official Police report, so at least you can get your story down with an unbiased third party.
  8. By the sounds of it the burnt copy is slightly corrupted, and whenever it tries to read this corrupted portion of the data it locks up. Hence why it appear to be a random error. With these dvds I would burn at the slowest speed and have it check the data afterwards. Even so there is still a chance of bad data being written but it's the risk you take by using that method to obtain maps.
  9. Can't say I've heard of these issues before. I would suggest you get your tie-rod ends, wheel bearings and steering rack tested by a reputable mechanic as this is the only way you'll get a definite answer. Same with your brakes. If there is something wrong with either of these I wouldn't waste time on a forum asking about it - book it in for an inspection asap. Also, PLEASE use punctuation and maybe even correct spelling... It's a nightmare trying to read your post. A full stop every now and then doesn't take that much effort but it does make for far easier reading and as a bonus people will treat you with more respect especially given that you're old enough to have a son on his L's.
  10. That is correct. You need to ground the pink wire behind the headunit to get it functioning again. It is stated in the Aurion FAQ here Solution posted here link from the FAQ Be sure to check out the FAQ in future as it will normally answer many questions you may have regarding the Aurion and mods.
  11. I love the leather seats in my ZR6. That said the leather quality is OEM which sadly means it's a tad lacking however I'd take them over cloth seats anyday.
  12. looking great! Although that dashboard could use some dusting :P
  13. risky is dependent on your level of skill and confidence with such things. The size of the task may appear daunting for some where as it's something I do all the time and it doesn't really bother me (except for the "I can't be Fcked factor"). Thing will rattles though is that it's only really financially viable to tackle yourself - ANY workshop or dealer would charge you an arm and a leg and there is also a good chance that they won't even manage to fix it either.
  14. my badges are genuine, but from the front grill hence the need to modify. Haven't been able to find that RX350 rear one yet. 51DER is semi-active in Brissie, turns up every now and then.
  15. Mine came from ivy and its definitely genuine.
  16. I gotta drop some things off in the city around 7:30 and hopefully grab a bite to eat on the way up so I'm aiming for 8pm as per usual
  17. Got off my **** and finally got the sub box secured - damn I forgot how good sub bass is! Grill is also being fabricated. Nothing important about the harrier badge except that it belonged to an obscure Toyota/Lexus model and but somehow got it's own custom badge. Being a Toyota it doesn't feel weird having it on my car and it really get's people thinking about what it is.
  18. I had similar problems in my aurion, I originally fixed it by removing the trim pieces and putting bits of stick-on felt between them to stop the rubbing. Seemed to work well. Many other people here do something similar along the lines of either trying to remove the movement by jamming things between trim pieces, or by adding some felt or something similar in the join. Every car is different so best thing is to try to localise the noise and see if you can diagnose what is actually causing the noise and going on from there

    Moderators

Damn glad to have you back as a moderator :) One moderator from every state sounds good but what about one "mini" moderator (ie what you were before) for each vehicle sub-forum as I know many people don't tend to venture outside of their own Toyota model areas which may create "holes" of limited moderation on the forum. Just my 2c
  20. Finally got the ***** of a centre console finished and back in the car. Also replaced the glovebox carpet with suede as the carpet looked and felt cheap. I'm not 100% satisfied with the quality of my work - a few edges etc around the pockets do look a bit second-rate however overall I'm happy enough to leave it as is. Really subtle overall and makes the car feel so much more expensive inside. Considered doing the back seat pockets however the shape suggests it would need to be done by a pro. forgive the crappy Iphone pics and messy car.
  21. wow.. just wow. You know, despite owning an Aurion myself I personally find the front end of that white Camry to be FAR sexier than anything available for the Aurion (mostly because of the grill).
  22. my work schedule for the immediate future has me working from midnight, so a 7pm start means an hour less sleep. Most people don't turn up until after 8:30 to 9pm anyhow so my vote is to keep it at 8 - 8:30pm
  23. Oi don't be so desperate for a sale you need to peddle your wares in unrelated threads. Show some dignity FFS
  24. I have the keyless entry FOB with my Aurion ZR6 and the system is an absolute life saver. I love it and the only slight issue you'll have is when the battery in the remote runs low -> it still works but just with less range, and the FOB includes a backup key in case the battery goes completely. All in all just the same issues as regular remote central locking just without the need to push buttons.
  25. Excellent welcome to the club - hope to see you at our weekly meets!
