lol that's pretty eff'd up! i don't know if it's just me but it even sounds a little HSVish? But if it's true and it is HSV parts then it stands to reason that after market HSV systems should fit as well. mmmmm having dreams of a Walkinshaw set up :)But we really need to know exactly what from a HSV was fitted to the Sportivo and what series it’s from, Z or E series etc.

No Worries at all mate, Always happy to help out :) Hi Adamsy,I did pass your info on to my friend and he does use 98 in it,he had to use 95 in it a couple of times due to the servo in which he gets it from out of 98 and he informed me its only then that he puts it in, other wise its 98 all the way. Mate I enclosed that article relating to normal unleaded being discontinued (NSW NRMA open road July Aug 2010 edition ) hope my attacment works,, take care mate Hey! yeah no thats great, half a tank of 95 here and there is fine and won't harm anything (maybe a little bit of performance loss) but 98 really is the go for the TRD cars. :) ahhh that e10 problem could prove interesting lol

Ohhhhh nah disregard the Targa race car that has Toyota employees signatures scribbled all over the side of it. it’s the side on view of the pearl white Camry with the strip up the side in the same place (and looks sort of similar in design) to say the GT strips on the new FPV's it simply says Hybrid Camry. i just out it in that folder as it seemed the best place to put it lol. i think it’s the first image :)

Nope. I'm content. But I think a colour coded bottom grill on a stivo might be nice. Depends on rest of the front. Yeah I’m keen to give it a crack, but your right it would depend on the rest if the grill. i have just the standard grill, i wouldn’t mind changing the grill and meshing the lower section but i just haven’t found a grill I’m totally happy with just yet ;)

Holy crap that thing is a weapon!!! a husband and wife have a family of TRD's he has a red TRD Hilux 4000S and she drives a white Aurion 3500S, better hope he doesnt see any of this, he was in at work 3 weeks ago asking was there any aftermarket mods for the TRD's as he's in a bragging race with his mate who has a pimped old school F truck but i told him nobody had really managed to get any huge gains out of the TRD's. Well till now! top effort!

Ahhh your mate with the TRD really should ALWAYS use 98RON fuel, 95 is fine in a pinch but Toyota/TRD stress only in a pinch and only fill up enough to get you to a station with 98 fuel. Toyota has posted a bulletin to the Dealer network about this as there has been a few problems with TRD Aurion’s that have regular been run on fuels other then 98. Just don’t risk it basically lol

yeah there doing the same up this end of the state too with the making the switch to 98 premium, still a bit hesitant to use it though, seems to be a dodgy Caltex servo tend to here a few dodgy stories about it so I’m happy to stay with BP ultimate, It's a mates parents servo so i know its always busy and fuel gets refilled regularly and they keep diesel 91, 95 Premium and 98 Ultimate so can always go back to 95 if ultimate gets to a stupid price again.

PZQ31-33125 - Dark Background applicable to these vehicle colours: AS4(Artic Frost, 3R3(Wildfire), 8V2(Reef), 6T1(Sakana Silver), 1D4(Silver Ash). ok ok hands up, who is hating on DJ for that link lol, clearly should of read the posts below before opening it lol. trying to exit it with customers here and the work server going off its face haha nice one though caught us all haha

so in summary at DJ is getting at that the 2GR and its computer systems is a bit too complex for this so called kind of easy fixes, So trying to employ it on your car would be a waste of time, sure give it a crack if it works sweet as you’ll become god ha-ha but yeah it can’t be tricked that easily not as easy as say a commodore or falcon power train and nobody has ever really spent the time to crack the computes and it wasn’t designed to be cracked and to get decent gains from, why? Because remember where this engine originated from, LEXUS! So none of these things were in the brief when it was set about to be designed and built. In saying that now that Lotus uses it in the Evora and MWR is doing transplant and some other Aussie based company is also using the power train there is a very real chance that chips and headers/intakes may become available :)

I for one totally agree with you there Ronny boy,being in my mid 40s (ol bas*ard) its good to be able to give out help and offer advise with out being ridiculed and to also recieve advise which has helped me out and no doubt many others, thanks fellow TOCAU members Because the spam thread is so mature LOL, We are one, but we are many..... :P From all the lands on earth we come....
