  3. I dunno about price range but what about a RS200? they pack a hell of a punch for a N/A 2L
  4. how much longer is your sig going to get haha
  5. yea those wheels are f-n hott!
  6. the rear is for rear fill. how often do you have someone in the back and how much do you care about what they hear? I had 6.5' 3-Way coax's but as of the weekend i unplugged my rear speakers so that i could bridge my amp and get more power to the front speakers. sounds f-n great. I can tell the rears aren't there and Ill probably just hook them up to the deck for the time being. Honestly you really dont need rear splits unless you really want them. Trying to find somewhere for the tweeter isnt worth it. If you want better sound you should be more worried about what direction your tweeters are pointing cos if you have a levin or sportivo then they're not pointing towards you like they should.
  7. What about a FM Radio Tuner PCI card? It is quite ugly aye. At least not Toyotas ugliest shell (Aussie Avalon?) Let's see what bodykits C-one make for this thing ;) Not a bad interior though. yeah this tastes like a cross between the yaris and the current rolla. but im quite impressed with the c-one kitted up yaris's. makes me want a yaris t-sport. I keep thinking its a shame c-one didn't rice up the corolla as much as they did the yaris. 2.2L diesel? can i have taht with a turbo please?
  8. i live pretty close to fred, i should probably be a part of this second meeting point
  9. i was so dissapointed the fortune nsx didnt have a bigger role in the movie. they went to all that effort to completely transform the car and it just sat in the garage the whole movie.
  10. speaking of skylines i forgot to mention i saw most of the skylines from the drive-ins up at thornleigh maccas. i wonder if they OP'd it..
  11. If you drill out the rivets you still have a chance of reinstalling the stockers. you jsut have to work out how you can install them again. what i did was i drilled out the rivets for the back, took the whole assembly out and made a wooden copy to mount my aftermarket speakers. the rears speakers and the mounting bracket are basically 1 piece and its too hard to seperate them without doing damage so you're better off just removing the whole thing and making your own bracket as i did. As for the fronts you can unscrew the speakers from the bracket and pull them off. Give them a mighty tug as they are silconed on. you can then mount your aftermarket onto the stock bracket, i was only able to use 2 screws as the stockers are 4 screws where my aftermarkets are 6 screws. Ive heard of others drilling their own screw holes but i just added some silcone to help hold it on. it wont be going anywhere. alternatively you can do the same as the back and just remove the whole bracket by drilling out the rivets and make it out of wood again. some say you get better response out of a wooden mount.
  12. yeah i saw that. they were still there at 5.30am when i went past on my way home. looked really bad. did you notice the petrol station had piles of sand everywhere too? scary stuff.

  18. 50 points to you for random thread jacking.
  19. yeah its hard to get away when you're not really sure whats around that next bend. I'm way cautious on those roads. especially with a bunch of other people i (honestly) don't know all that well. Last thing i want is to miss a corner and have the person behind slam into me. I've heard too many car club horror stories..
