  1. I saw this on the way to driving to Prospect Reservoir on Tuesday.. OMFG.. shoulda taken pics of the car from the side! i coulda swore at the time that the car had been wrecked some how but it was just the body kit?!!
  2. BUMP! Cmon guys! ALL PRICES NEGOTIABLE PEOPLE! The tail lights have great potential.. if your car were blue/red/white... imagine what it would look like if the chrome areas of the tail light were painted the same colour as your car! others have done similar jobs on their headlights and they look awesome. Theres a DIY on how to do the job on the headlight.. sure the same can be applied to these tail lights. And the spoilers gotta be good 4 someone out there! Would be great if I can have most of these sold off sooner rather than later. will place it all on ebay within a few days. Jase
  3. any pics of the engine bay before you did any mods to it?
  4. GDAY ALL, Theres a lot of technology out there as far as putting the internet onto your tv. Lots of options from PS3, telstra T box, there are some hd tuners/blueray players that can do it too.. just wondering which is the cheapest route to get youtube or the net onto my tv without having to pay for subscription? Jase
  5. Id like to see the CF bonnet, but the only pic that works for me is the pic of the label on the bonnet, the carsales image doesnt work. :/
  6. Speaking of which I have a set of these 4 sale in the Buy n Sell section of this forum! may not be your cuppa tea, but I think if one was as adventurous as to paint the chrome areas the same colour as the car, it opens up new possibilities for creativity and individuality not yet seen with these tail lights!
  7. sorry jaeson, pretty much selling every spare grille ive got man.
  8. =============================================================================================== ITEM4:Used chrome altezza tail lights. The lower red circles are rear fog lights, which did not come standard on my corolla. Others have wired up the brake lights with these so that both red circles light up, I chose not to do that at the time of installing. All bulbs were still working when I removed the tail lights, so you shouldnt have to buy anymore bulbs. While these are not straight plug and play with the stock tail light wiring harness, my local autoelectrician installed these in in my car in about 30-35 minutes and did was able to connect the tail lights WITHOUT removing the stock tail light wiring harness. Great idea if you wanted the option of swapping back to your OEM tail lights. I remember buying these for more than $300. carmate price - $297 ebay - $199 BUY FROM ME- $110 FIRM The only thing wrong with the light: the passenger side brake light, the plastic holder bit melted away after the bulb went loose. Was glued back into place. Not difficult to remove if you need to replace the bulb. No noticable difference once installed. ===================================================================================== ITEM5: prefacelift silver painted grille. Toyota Emblem not included, perfect fit/replacement for stock grill. $20. ===================================================================================== ITEM6: prefacelift OEM GRILLE Toyota Emblem is not removable. SOLD!
  9. OK guys, Ive got several prefacelift items for sale @ Western Sydney. Ill give you as much detail as I can.. all prices NEGOTIABLE, but PLEASE dont bother asking if you cant pay near the price! ITEM1: FIBREGLASS FRONT BAR Based on the C-one front bar, I was planning on installing until I saw Trungs bodykit for sale and decided to go with that instead. Will require some work to install. I have seen a couple other corollas in the forum using these exact front bars and they look awesome after all the work is done.. Costs $387.95 @ carmate.com.au, but Im selling for $110 FIRM ===================================================================================== ITEM2:SPOILER & LED BRAKE LIGHT KIT OEM Spoiler(IM ASSUMING) suits prefacelift+facelift Toyota Corolla Hatchback, needs to be painted. I bought the spoiler off ebay for $100, although I did try painting it, I never installed. It has a small crack, which is located behind where youd install the brake light, so its basically invisable and makes no difference in appearance once installed (Crack is circled in red). You could have it fixed, but I wouldnt bother and just paint it and put the brake light over it. Includes brake light kit which cost me $150 @ Penrith Toyota Parts (I have the recipt- pics provided). Comes with all the bits and peices you need to install, as well as the template to show you where to drill into your hatch door. $110 FIRM. =============================================================================================== ITEM 3: GEARSTICK- SOLD Gearknob not included.
  10. yea.. was very glad to hear that I was CLOSE to being very sorry.. the moral of the story is: DONT MESS WITH TREES.
  11. Ok I've just taken the car home and it wasn't the big mess I was expecting. The wobbliness in the wheel wasn't because the rim was broken or anything. Nothing was actually bent. The nuts were tight and alignment was actually very good overall. The only thing is the entire rear drivers side wheel was loose and at risk of falling off! they just tightened it up. While they were fixing that, they had this deal which included front n rear wheel alignment, balance and nitrogen in all 4 tyres, 3 mnth warranty for $79! The squeak was gone, and it was the first time I saw my car driven be someone else since I've put the rims and the kit on the car... no more dramas! The guy said the camber was off by a smidgen, but that can't be adjusted and it's well within normal range.. I've got a printout of all the data if you were interested in looking @ what they checked out on their computers. Wasted a long weekend could have spent it up at lake macquarie but yea. Happy az now!
  12. Interesting.. If you had registered the name as a business you'd have a much better argument if you chose to sue.. But just coz you used the name first doesn't mean you may win. I'm thinking of Nissan suing Nissan.. A company named Nissan that existed back when Nissan was named datsun...wwf suing wwf, Mcdonalds have sued heaps of smaller businesses over their name. If you wanted to sue , you've got to make some sort of argument that your brand is suffering some how due to the confusion of them using the samename as you... I'm not really an expert in law, but as an art teacher we talk bout that sorta stuff when an artist rips off another persons idea or beats in music..
  13. The nose + front wing might be a nice DIY xbox/ps3 cockpit if you got the steering wheel.. just a suggestion to any gamers with too much money out there.. how bout one of them in your lounge room?
  14. It makes sense... If you eat several hours before bedtime, you are at least moving around burning calories in those hours before you rest and sleep. If you ate a big dinner, then head straight to the couch and nod off, your digesting the food in your sleep and not using up energy from that food and it ends up being stored in your body as fat. Ive met this guy who told me he doesnt eat fatty food/red meat after 3pm if hes training for a bodybuilding competition.. I love meat too much not to have it for dinner.. and Im awake at least another 9-10 hours after 3pm so thats somethign id never try to do.
  15. Hey guys, I was just trolling www.trc-tuning.com and noticed a button that said "TOYOTA MOTORSPORT AUTHENTIC F1 PARTS NOW ON SALE!" And sure enough, they are selling front and rear wings, combinations of the nose+ front wing, engine cover + rear wing, brake calipers, rims and tyres! Here are a couple of pics check em out! Highly unlikely any of these would fit your echo/corolla/yaris but then again, if any idiot had the money they could at least purchase the rear wing.. looks like the only part that might bolt on to a hatchback haha!
  16. what spins me out is how the sideskirts blend into the car... no seems?!
  17. if thats the case, then what in your mind needs to be repaired/replaced?
  18. Just wondering, I noticed there was a sort of plug hanging behind the fog light cover in the front bumper of my corolla conquest. My corolla did not come stock with fog lights. Im just curious as to whether the conquests come prewired to fit a oem foglight?
  19. Yea cant argue too much with whats being said in the review, however, the things Ive seen people do with these corollas is what makes the car awesome. I never aimed to drive my car down a drag strip or anything and at the end of the day it jsut gets you from A to B!
  20. Ok, this guy is pretty spot on as far as toyota being bland and suited to the average joe.. not the first time Ive heard these sentiments from a review. not really harsh, more like telling it like it is! The is NICE but in its stock standard form, especially the basic Ascent models, there isnt a lot to brag about! As this reviewer stated at the end of that page: "MotorV8.me has seen some nice looking Levin and Sportivo spec Corollas with body kits, bigger wheels and spoilers. However, in base Ascent spec, the styling could put an Attention Deficit Disorder sufferer to sleep in no time!" In saying that though, Ive never heard of this "MotorV8" review website... like who the hell are these ppl anyway?
  21. Bridgestone select got a $65 alignment for all 4 tyres, + 3 mnth warranty n stuff. The only other quote I got was for 80.. But then there's the issue of the damage that may have been done to the car... Hoping n preying it won't cost an arm and a leg.. The car is booked 4 tuesday.. Frikken long wait till then... Stupid long weekends come at the wrong times 4 me.

    hiace.

yea camping.. if thats what you wanna call it. i used 2 keep a sleeping bag in the back of my landcruiser..never meant i went camping though
  23. G'day... This afternoon we reversed into a tree in a local park. Although there isn't any panel damage if you don't include the mudguard getting a fair scratch, most of the impact Was at the drivers side rear tyre which now makes some squeaking noises and my wife said it now looks as though that corner looks as though it's limping! Any ideas as to how much this will cost to repair?
