  8. if it says pay at the post office, then just bring the fine to the post office and pay it. from memory thats what my brother did when we took dads corolla to the beach a few years back.
  9. just curious - arent the methods of payment shown on the peice of paper the cops gave you? kinda silly theyd force you to pay these fines and not tell you where you can pay it. oh yea encounter - "ny1 got pullover?" = anyone got pulled over? didnt take long 4 me to figure that out after reading the first post.. but yea before that i didnt have a clue either hehe

  16. whats the load rating for the corolla? im looking into a certain rim that has a load rating of 850kgs. not good? they are g.max number 10 - DEFIANT. www.gmaxwheels.com - based in perth
  17. welcome to TOCAU! ive been looking at this place to install the fibreglass frontbar i got 2nd hand... www.xracing.com.au X Racing Motorsport Unit 6/21 Cooper Street Smithfield NSW 2164 they sell the kits and do installation too. from the looks of it, they know what they are doing. ive done a quick check.. yours is around a 1998 model right? theyve got a kit to suit them. theres also carmate.. which is where my frontbar is from. ive had a look at another corolla with the same bar as mine that was installed by them.. the owner wasnt happy. theres other places.. goto www.bodykits.com.au. they have a big list of places that sell parts and install. jase
  18. kit looks like a really nice fit.. although the front makes it look like your car is frowning... get some eyelids so itll look like its fully angry n agressive!
  19. is this on a 1zz or 2zz? sportivo or accent/conquest?
  20. yea bigbum that was another option i was thinking thinking about. its definately simpler to do it the way you just stated, except i would find it impossable to wire them up with the side indicators, since i can only manage to pull out the indicators wiring about 2mm out of the hole. its a really short wire! luckily the wires from the LEDs are long enough to go all the way up to the headlights and i located the wires up there already. but yea, i did manage to take off the stock covers, which means in theory i can do my original plan but my main concern is the lack of space inside the mirror cavity. i just gotta make sure it can accomodate for the bits of chrome plastic that surround the LEDs. once i figured that out, then its all good! the plastic chrome covers are also providing the mirror look inside the lense, which is why i wouldnt take the LEDs completely off the chrome cover. i wanted to cut the holes in the stock covers because the LED lense looks so thick (hope that made sense). the clear plastic lense covering the LEDs is maybe 2-3mm thick. if i cut holes into the stock indicators and poke the LEDs through, itll look less like its bulging out of the covers and it wouldnt be able to be pulled off by any old knob that realised they were stuck on with doublesided tape if i did it the other way. if i poked them through the stock mirror covers i figured they probebly wont stick out so much.. i was thinking of using clear silicone glue to attach the LEDs from underneith the stock covers and if i stuff up dremmeling the holes (made the holes too big or cut too much, i could always use bodyfiller and respray. if i stuck the LEDs on the stock covers with double sided tape itll stick out by another mm... so yea.. bigbums plan is much simpler, but i worry bout other people fcuking it up by pulling em off.. while the option i was thinking is gonna take a lot of work.. but itll look more the way i wanted. you may or may not be able to tell, but the chrome covers are really big.. when i bought them it thought they would replace the stock covers, but instead they put double sided tape to stick it on. the chrome covers parts of the black sections of the mirror cover and overall i dont like the way it looks if i stuck it on like that. plus, i think it would be easy to pull em off... all the chrome on the mirror would attract some unwanted attention me thinks. ill update once i figured out which direction to go. thanks for your advice!
