  1. Looking hot Lee. As usual your car is immaculate...
  2. Guys..haven't had a chance to look any of this up, but wouldn't the Presara headlight assembly be different due to the fact that it has factory HIDs installed??? My 20c worth...
  3. Really looks good...could however be just that bit better a bit lower. Great stuff Tash.
  4. Sorry. The first set of photos you posted looks like it's solid right after the merge. Anyways, I'm still going to stick with my desire to get the pipes formed in a similar shape to the stock ones. I had a look under my car again and noticed there is a bit of room to play with if they have the skill. Hey Daryl, you thinking of going back to see Will at Pipewerx for this or elsewhere?
  5. Awesome work Lee. You've taken the standard of detail even higher. Look forward to more pics.
  6. Sorry guys, won't make it out tonight...rellies turned up on the doorstep. Doh!!!
  7. Welcome aboard mate...enjoy your car.
  8. Sounds like a plan mate...I'll fit in with what you guys are doing as best I can.
  9. Cool...I haven't forgotten about those...thanks for the reminder mate. I hope to get out to the meet next week (7 Jan), so would be cool to have a look.
  10. Hey Greg welcome aboard. Prados are great vehicles (my other car is a 120 series and is great). Don't have the new model but have read a lot about them. My bro-in-law works for Toyota so if you need some info, I'm sure we can find answers. Which model did you get (GXL, VX, Kakadu, 2-or 5 door)?
  11. Ash...will tell you all about it and how the choices changed a number of times since your recommendations. Maybe could catch up for the photoshoot you and Rowan are doin. We were talking about doing something b4 the year is out...just I've been away for a bit and now have a chance to do something. Pretty sure Michael (51IDER) would be up for it as well.
  12. Hey Michael, great shots of your car. Glad to see you've got your rear tips now as well...looks hot!!! See you've taken the plunge and gotten a new camera.
  13. Welcome mate, you've got yourself a great car you'l really enjoy...
  14. Hi Matt, serious stuff with the dash. Glad I didn't see mine when I got it done a couple of months ago.
  15. Yeah Matt, I was thinking of getting a black toyota badge and putting on mine. Not sure of the best way of fixing it on though...
  16. Silver looks good and different which is why I put it on my car (which is silver). Anyway makes it look more unique and that's what trying different things is all about. Keep modding and sharing with us Peter. Cheers
  17. For those of you who were out at Thursdays night's meet in Brisbane and didn't know what the huge burning fireball in the sky was, well I've found out. It was a chunk of a meteor shower which seems to pass regularly. Courier Mail Article It was amazing and the best night sky object I've ever seen. We were all impressed.
  18. Good one Daryl...Kappa's will look good. Take it easy and rest up and get yourself well soon.
  19. Thanks for the comments... I put a post up about the headunit in July. You can see it here : New Eclipse AVN726EA in my Aurion, Eclipse AVN726EA setup Any other questions, feel free to ask.
  20. Nah..only the tips are 4 inches. The rest of the system from where the exhaust splits was replaced. I initially had 2 barrel mufflers put on, but it droned way too much inside the car. Had them swapped out for some oval jobbies which sound nice in my opinion. Still have the central resonator and cats. Not too loud but a nice growl. Sounds sweeter the higher the revs.
  21. I'm actually surprised that a large wheelie bin at speed did so little damage to the front end, and it all appears to be down low too. I guess the bin must have exploded upon impact, but I'm still amazed that there wasn't more damage done. Good luck with the repairs mate.
  22. Definitely nice car mate, now that I've see in the flesh...hot as!!! Will look sweet with your air dams once you figure out how to fit them...will look good in the black colour they are.
  23. Thanks all for the comments...it's good fun to watch the changes, and especially learn from everyone on these forums. There are a lot of you who have inspired and directly added to my decisions, etc. Sure are Lee. They're the same as your tips (minus the mufflers). Zetti double wall angled stainless. My exhaust change costs were mostly the tips, but well worth it. Thanks Rowan, good to hear about the front as it still looks a bit high. Will probably look at eyelid, grill colour code combo sometime. Maybe might get one of the photoshop dudes on the forums to see if they can show me what it might look like. Will be out tonight. Cheers Michael
  24. Hi Guys I've been around here since early June this year when I bought my Silver Ash ZR6, but I've been waiting for a few mods to get some latest pics up. Since I bought the car I've made the following mods : - 19x8 Advanti Gauntlet wheels (+45 offset) with 245/35 tyres - King Springs (still waiting for them to settle) - Supercat Exhaust with 4 inch double wall tips - Eyelids - Thai Sports grill with silver mesh - Silver mesh lower front grill - Slimline weathershields - Number Plate light LEDs - Dark window tint - Toyota Floor Mats - Eclipse AVN726EA Head Unit - Eclipse EA4200 4-channel amp - Eclipse SC6900 Splits Up Front - Eclipse SC6900 Splits Rear - Eclipse BC-106 Rear Camera - Eclipse iPod Interface Cable - Dynamat in front doors and rear parcel shelf - Electrchromatic self dimming interior mirror with HomeLink (Dimming works. HomeLink does not as it uses US frequencies) - White LED door and interior lights Some of the things I'm thinking of still doing are : - Eclipse XA1200 monoblock amp - Eclipse SW6210 subwoofer in custom boot enclosure - Somehow convert HomeLink US frequencies to Aus to use mirror buttons - LED footwell lighting - LED door handle lighting - LED Parkers - LED Daytime Running Lights (would look cool) - Maybe HIDs - Maybe Front Strut Brace All in all I'm rapped in this car. It goes really well and is good on the juice. My little boy (5 year old) calls it the "Fast Car". Enjoy Michael
