  1. Eddy It's this coming Sunday. Kcorro - You car whore ! :D
  2. Change of Plans ! But for the better ! B) Thanks to kcorro we have been able to make the meet bigger and better ! Date and Time are still the same, however, we are now to meet up at the Grand Opening of... Typhoon Motorsports 32 Thornton Crescent Mitcham (Melway REF 48 H10) Australia's First and Only Tom's and TRD pro Shop :D About time too! After we've all arrived, checked out each others cars and drooled over what goodies to buy next for our cars, we'll go for a quick 2 min drive and meet up with the Girls and Boys from Club Exclusive at about midday. From there, ATOC & Exclusive cruise together down to the peninsula for a BBQ lunch, from there we'll leave exclusive and as before I'll take the lead and show you some very nice twisties, finishing with a downhill run of Arthurs Seat. We can then rejoin exclusive for dinner at Sorrento and the Dromana Drive in.
  3. Steve, This is something that's come up before, but if possible, we'd really love to have TOCAU stickers for our cars. When we go for meet up's and cruises, we'd really like others to know our group.
  4. Lucio... I win ! :D Those reclining rear seats are great! In regards to the above, all I saw was an opinion being voiced, There will always be a different view and difference of opinion, especially in regards to something as personal as a car. As I've said before, no use arguing about d!ck sizes because I'll win ! No lift needed
  5. That's a shame TRD_141, I'd still like you to be able to make it, I'm sure you'd still enjoy the drive.
  6. I sent an e-mail to bruce two weeks ago and still waiting for a reply.....
  7. And the list continues… 1. IZZ_FE 2. Kcorro 3. Sport1vo 4. Lucio Libre 5. TRD_141 6. Screaminrolla 7. Pecker 8. Ilivfor6 9. Peekay34 10. Tangcla 11. Eddy Torrezz 12. Netz Meeting place will the car park at U2 / 2 Westall Road Clayton ( Melway Ref 79 H4 ) Outside N1, Evolution R, Wheel & Tyre City. Time about 10.30-11.00 with a view to leaving shortly after 11.00. From there it’s on to Rosebud for a quick stop and bite. Then back on the road again to the Cape Shank Light house (the real fun begins), from there to The Top of Arthurs seat from the back roads (More Fun!) and then Arthurs Seat downhill (Extreme Fun!). From there we can decide to go on to Sorrento/Portsea or head back home.
  8. I thought of it first ! :D Ok, so the list is... 1. IZZ_FE 2. Kcorro 3. Sport1vo 4. Lucio Libre 5. TRD_141 6. Screaminrolla 7. Pecker 8. Ilivfor6 9. Peekay34 10. Tangcla 11. ... Now I need everyone to let me know, would you prefer to drive Arthurs seat up hill or down hill (Either way is fun). Please let me know your preference as this determines the route we drive.
  9. 1983 VH Commodore shaggin wagon ! Complete with luxuries including... No Power Steering No Aircon Vinal Seats (which together with the no aircon is very sticky in summer!) And an AM radio with no cassette player or FM ! (That quickly changed) Only mod - Genie Extractors
  10. Nah I leave them on the backseat for better weight distribution when cornering even though it hampers my acceleration :D But I've found my fat cousin does a better job :D :D
  11. Yeah, it's most annoying when I wash my car and I have to wipe my wheels twice because the rusty water from the discs drips down and makes them dirty again ! Especially the fronts that are ventilated
  12. Yeah, friends got one too, standard clutch is way too soft, so he's changed it to a heavy duty single plate unit ( don't know what brand ) and several burnouts later it's still good!
  13. Praise has to be given to Toyota lately, they're genuinely commencing an effort to build more enjoyable cars rather dull transport that sells well. It's funny because we're starting to see role reversals between Honda and Toyota. Honda used to build exciting cars but they're becoming more boring by the day - They've axed the Prelude and the next gen NSX and made the civic hatch look like a mini-van. Toyota on the other hand are really starting to design and build some exciting cars. Keep them coming!
  14. This is one thing you want to be real careful with because it's very easy to get it wrong and make it look tacky! To do it properly you need to pull it out of the car... don't ask me how though
  15. Fingers crossed no F!@#$%^ rattle with the new one Lets run in the new one on the 26th! ;)
  16. OMFG E-gene ! :D That is so funny ! Did the chains scratch your rims ?
  17. Yeah that's it in Adamco Business Park, N1 is fine too. Sexyland would be a bad idea... you would never drag Sport1vo away from there :D
  18. No problem, I've also got a commodore so I'm used to leaks
  19. Ok, my suggestion is to meet at ... Evolution R U2 / 2 Westall Road Clayton ( Melway Ref 79 H4 ) Otherwise at Toyota HQ as usual. What does everyone think?
  20. Mate, This is a Corolla forum not New Corolla forum - so you're not in the wrong forum and not wasting anyone's time ;) I agree with quicksilver Degrease the area around the resovoir, pump and steering rack (A can of engine degreaser $2.00), top up and check regularly to see where the leak is coming from. :)
  21. We could, but seeing we have to travel to the Frankston Freeway, we're best meeting up somewhere east near Blackburn or Springvale Road. Any Suggestions ?
  22. From the little I've read up on it, it's more like VVTi rather than VVTiL.
  23. CAP

    18's

I've chosen 17"s just for the reason that I travel on alot of rough surfaces, therefore I didn't want to have any less that a 45 profile tyre to maintain a level of comfort and not to cause damage to the rim when hitting potholes. 18"s shouldn't be a problem - KoroLa883 has 18"s fitted. ;)
  24. Don't know about that one, Personally not something I've looked into. I think it has been mentioned before that TRD don't do a full exhaust to fit the AUS spec corolla. Is this correct everyone ?
  25. Exhaust would then be next on your shopping list. CAI and Exhaust are the best place to start, simply getting the engine breathing better gives good gains in power. When shopping around for exhausts, there's a lot of different set up's depending on budget and preference, if you ask everyone who has done an exhaust mod here, you'll find alot of different set ups. Your best option would be something like what Danz has had done - Headers/Extractors, 2.25" piping and less restrictive rear muffler (Personally I'd stay away from cannonball/straight through rear mufflers though). And don't forget - Check with your insurance first!
