  1. If you're putting a replacement filter into your stock airbox, there really wont be much difference between all the better brands, just pick the one that you like and suits your budget.
  2. As stated earlier, you only have to be concerned if you're caught in a flash flood. Driving in rain / normal puddles etc wont be a problem. If you're still not confident, AEM sell a bypass valve for their CAI's which does not allow the engine to hydrolock if the CAI does suck in Water.

  4. Topics merged. Looking nice.
  5. It's not your eyes - it's a colour mis-match. It's very common with repairs on metallic finishes. Only way to get around it, is to respray that whole side of the car.... or just live with it.
  6. Leonidas "The Athenians are philosophers and boy lovers"
  7. I think Negatron has a taste for blood after watching 300 At the end of the day 1zz-fe is an economy engine. So you're comparing a model designed for families, couriers and the like to a model that's designed for spirited driving, it's not apples with apples.
  8. Persian Messenger "Why does this woman think she can speak amongst men?" "Queen Gorgo "Because only Spartan women give birth to real men." Dilios "We Spartans have descended from Hercules himself. Taught never to retreat, never to surrender. Taught that death in the battlefield is the greatest glory he could achieve in his life. Spartans: the finest soldiers the world has ever known"

No, you need a pcd of 4 x 100. Just moving this to wheels/tyres

  11. The new shape looks ok with some lowering and wheels doesn't it? And it can go much lower
  12. This is how low the car goes with the Toyota accessory springs... Which is about 25mm only. If you had these fitted when you bought the car (And toyota would not have charged you any labour) it would be worth it, but they will charge you a fortune. A set of Whiteline control springs or king lows will give you 35mm and most places you go for fitting will charge you far less than Toyota. In terms of Warranty, if you choose these others, if anything goes wrong and it's related to the new springs (highly unlikely) then your warranty is void.

  16. Also called a Cooling Panel for those wondering...
  17. The only difference between pre-facelift and facelift is the front and the rear tail-lights. The remainder of the car is identical. So the rear skirt (or even tail for that matter) are interchangeable.
  18. I didn't it would be possible to incorrectly fit a bolt-on part.
  19. It wasn't Apexi. The Apexi SRI is a great product. I think once you secure the rubber mounts as above it should stop any banging and knocking around. Good work everyone coming up with a solution
  20. Justing moving this to general topics...
